You know what surprised me most about Paradise Garden? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch of Eucalyptus Street where you can hear the cicadas in the evening – something I wasn’t expecting in Kolimbia. I mean, the town gets pretty busy with day-trippers heading to and from Lindos, but somehow this little pocket stays peaceful.

The hotel itself has that relaxed Greek island vibe without trying too hard, if that makes sense. It’s a solid 4-star place that feels more authentic than some of the flashier resorts down the coast. The staff genuinely seems to know everyone’s names by day two, and honestly, the woman at reception gave me better directions to the hidden beach near Tsambika than my guidebook did. The rooms are comfortable – not Instagram-perfect, but you’ll sleep well and the air conditioning actually works (crucial in July, trust me). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night. You’re close enough to walk into Kolimbia’s center for dinner, but far enough that you won’t hear music pumping until 2 AM.

The pool area is where people tend to hang out during the afternoon heat, and there’s this nice mix of families and couples without it feeling chaotic. The gardens are actually worth mentioning – they’ve got these established olive trees and bougainvillea that create proper shade, not just those sad little saplings you see at newer places. Parking’s easy too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to explore places like Anthony Quinn Bay or drive up to the Monastery of Tsambika. The breakfast is that typical Greek hotel spread, but they make a decent Greek coffee and the local honey is genuinely good. I’d say the food overall is perfectly fine – not destination dining, but you won’t leave hungry or disappointed. Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk to Kolimbia’s main strip where the tavernas are, and maybe 20 minutes to the beach. It’s an easy drive to Lindos (though go early to beat the crowds), and you’re well-positioned for day trips around this part of Rhodes. The 8.5 rating feels about right – it’s the kind of place that does everything well without any major surprises, good or bad.

  The place is really quiet, very clean and comfortable, personnel kind and helpful. Felt safe. Supermarket and bus station at a walking distance are a big plus.

  The apartment was great it had everything I needed. I loved the pool and it’s close to the bus stops into Rhodes and also Lindos.
  
  What could be improved: The air con unit was only in the lounge area and not in the bedroom. The lights by the bed didn’t work. The toaster didn’t stay down and the washing machine walked across the floor when it span. I had to put my sheets and towels into a wash bag and take out my trash before I left!! Never had to do that before! They asked me what time I will check out so they could come to check the room when I checked out. I found that a bit rude! I waited and they didn’t come so I msg them and they said they were not coming! I found that a little bit rude.

  almost everything, very quiet and comfortable. great spot for getting anywhere by car in 20/30 minutes ie Aiport / pefkos / lindos / rhodes town etc all easy scenic drives . 2km to nearest beach . several excellent tavernas within 200m of the property all we could not fault .supermarket 100m .
  
  What could be improved: bathroom could be slightly improved but really struggling to find fault .

  The apartment had everything you needed, was clean and spacious. A short walk to a supermarket. Free parking and an attractive swimming pool. The communication with the property via Whatsapp was very efficient. The staff were there to meet us & see us off at the agreed times.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing not to like. Some people may be put off by the location as not close to the main resort area. We hired a car so not an issue for us. The resort also has an electric scooter hire scheme with a pick up point outside the apartment so that offers an alternative.

  Fantastic communication. Very clean. Owners very nice and helpful. Pool sensational additionally very peaceful and quiet. Near shop, tavern. Fantastic place. Fully equipped.

  We had an apartment with a private pool. The location is next to the road, but it is very calm. Everything was very clean, the staff was very responsive in answering any questions and very helpful in general. Several nice beaches are located within several minutes driving distance (Tsambika). Large grocery and grill are just around the corner.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside were very soft beds and shared blanket. But I don’t consider this as very important.
