You know what struck me first about Ossiano Pool Villas? The name actually makes sense – these aren’t just regular hotel rooms with a shared pool somewhere. Each villa has its own heated pool, which honestly feels pretty luxurious when you’re lounging there at sunset with a cold Mythos beer. The place sits in this quiet residential area between Haraki and the main Rhodes-Kamirou road, so you get that authentic Greek neighborhood vibe without being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

The two-minute drive to Haraki Beach thing is legit – I mean, you could probably walk it in decent weather, but why would you when parking right at the beach is so easy? Haraki’s one of those beaches that locals still use, not completely overrun with tour groups like some spots closer to Rhodes Town. The water’s clearer than what you’ll find at the more popular beaches, and there’s this little taverna right on the sand where the owner, Yannis, makes probably the best grilled octopus on the island (though don’t tell him I said that – he’s already got a big enough ego). What really surprised me was how quiet it stays even in July and August.

The villa itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel room. The heated pool is actually heated – not just lukewarm like some places promise – and the outdoor shower situation is pretty brilliant for rinsing off after beach days. Inside, everything’s clean and modern but not sterile, if that makes sense. The kitchen’s fully equipped, which matters because grocery shopping at the little market in Haraki is part of the experience. The owner, Maria, lives nearby and she’s one of those people who genuinely wants you to have a good time. She’ll give you the real recommendations, not the tourist trap stuff.

Getting to Lindos takes about ten minutes by car, maybe fifteen if you get stuck behind one of those tour buses on the winding road. But here’s the thing – go early morning or later afternoon. Middle of the day, Lindos is absolutely packed and honestly kind of miserable. The Acropolis is stunning, obviously, but the crowds can be brutal. From Ossiano, you can easily hit Lindos for sunrise (which is magical) then come back for a pool breakfast. Or do the evening thing – dinner in Lindos then back to your own private pool under the stars.

The location really works if you want to explore the eastern side of Rhodes without dealing with resort crowds every day. You’re close enough to the action but removed enough that you can hear cicadas at night instead of music from hotel bars. Check-in was smooth, parking’s never an issue (which isn’t always the case on Greek islands), and honestly, at this price point with your own heated pool and this level of personal attention, it’s pretty hard to beat. Just don’t expect a concierge desk or room service – this is more about having your own little Greek retreat than being pampered at a big hotel.

  We found the villa to be clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Kostas and Diana were always on hand to help with questions and Kostas advised us on directions and parking for Rhodes town.

  Kostas und Diana sind wunderbare zuvorkommende Gastgeber, Kostas hat immer den passenden Tipp für Restaurants, Strände…
  Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Es ist alles vorhanden vom Toaster, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine alles da. Jeder Raum hat seine eigene Klimaanlage und ist sehr modern eingerichtet.
  Der Garten ist perfekt gepflegt und der Pool mit Jacuzzi ein Traum.
  Supermarkt sowie eine leckere Bäckerei sind in Masari 1500 m. 2 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.
  Ein Leihwagen ist von Vorteil, in Charaki 3 Minuten ist ein kleines Dorf dort gibt es wunderbare Restaurants am Meer echte griechische Küche.
