Honestly, I almost drove right past Olympia’s Cozy Guesthouse on my first visit to Psinthos – it’s tucked away in this quiet residential stretch that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation.” But that’s actually what makes it so perfect. While everyone else is fighting for space in Rhodes Town or the packed beach resorts, you’re staying in what feels like a proper Greek neighborhood where locals still outnumber visitors by a long shot.

The place lives up to its name in ways that surprised me. I mean, “cozy” can be code for “tiny” sometimes, but Olympia (yes, she’s a real person and you’ll probably meet her) has this knack for making spaces feel intimate without being cramped. The rooms have these thick stone walls that keep things blissfully cool even when it’s blazing outside – something you really appreciate when you’re coming back from hiking around the Butterfly Valley, which is maybe a fifteen-minute drive through those winding mountain roads. Speaking of which, parking here is actually decent, unlike some places I’ve stayed where you’re circling the block with your luggage melting in the back seat. The whole setup feels more like staying at a favorite aunt’s house than a hotel, and Olympia treats you that way too – she’ll remember your coffee preference by day two and probably try to convince you to stay for her homemade baklava (do it, seriously).

What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to the real Psinthos. You’re walking distance from the village center where there’s this little taverna – I think it’s called Kostas’s place – that serves the kind of lamb that makes you understand why Greeks are so passionate about their food. The location puts you right in that sweet spot where you can hit the tourist highlights (Ancient Kamiros is close, and you can reach Profitis Ilias monastery without much hassle) but you’re also experiencing Rhodes like someone who actually lives here. Mornings are quiet except for the occasional goat bells drifting down from the hills, and evenings bring this amazing light that photographers would kill for. The 9.5 rating isn’t inflated tourist nonsense – it’s because places like this are getting harder to find as everything gets more corporate and sanitized. You know what I mean? It’s that rare spot where the hospitality feels genuine because it actually is.

  The apartment is charming and very well-equipped – perfect for a longer stay. It offers everything you might need, including a washing machine, iron, stove, towels, beach chairs, and more. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms provides a refreshing escape from the heat.
  
  It’s located in the picturesque village of Psinthos, with plenty of cozy taverns, shops, and a bakery nearby. We spent a wonderful week there with our family.
  
  The host welcomed us with a lovely gesture – leaving fresh croissants and bottled water for our arrival. The terrace is a great place to enjoy relaxing evenings. We highly recommend this place!

  A quiet village away from all the tourists and touristic hotspots, which can be overwhelming even in low seasons in Rhodes, yet the location is just a ride away to all directions on the island. A very thoughtful host, attentive and helpful. A decent village house, equipped with everything one can possibly need at home. The host really thought of every little detail. Two small markets and a bakery and a handful of restaurants (the cute family run platia, highly recommended) steps away. The best part of our stay was the cutest little kittens we got to sit for a week. In our last night, we were hit by a powerful earthquake, which was scary, but we couldn't be more glad to be in a single-storey house well above the sea level. Being in a safe home helped a lot to ease down our nerves and go back to sleep in peace. All in all, it is totally recommended and we would 100% stay here if we visit Rhodes again.   I had an amazing time during my stay at Olympia’s Cozy Guesthouse in Psinthos! The location was perfect, close to the beach and surrounded by the beauty of the area. The house itself was a perfect blend of modern and traditional, making it a unique and cozy retreat. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely and authentic experience in Rhodes.

  Nagyon szerettünk itt lenni. A ház kényelmes, tágas és jól felszerelt. A tulajdonos barátságos és segítőkész. Az elhelyezkedése is megfelelő. 100 m-en belül elérhető supermarket, gyógyszertár, éttermek, kávézók. A legközelebbi strand 15 perc autóval.

  Eine schöne, große, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung im Herzen von Psinthos. Große Terrasse und Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Zwei Klimaanlagen um alles gut runter zu kühlen. Bei Ankunft war der Kühlschrank gefüllt mit Snacks, Frühstück, Getränken und Obst. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, von Waschmaschine über Bügeleisen, Strandschirme, Strandstühle, Kaffeemaschine mit Kaffeekapseln. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Gastgeber.

  Hübsches kleines Häuschen, mit allem, was man braucht. Olympia hat sogar den Kühlschrank für uns befüllt, als wir angekommen sind.
  Außerdem ist das Haus wunderbar ruhig gelegen und doch im Zentrum des kleinen Dorfes Psynthos.
