You know what’s funny about Faliraki? Everyone thinks it’s just party central with drunk Brits stumbling around, but OLIA Studios sits right in the heart of it all and somehow manages to feel like a proper retreat. I mean, yes, you’re literally in Faliraki Center – you can hear the distant thrum of music from the main strip – but Olga (who actually runs the place and isn’t just a name on the sign) has created something that feels more like staying at your Greek aunt’s house if your aunt happened to have impeccable taste.

The studios themselves are honestly impressive for what you’d expect in this part of Rhodes. Each one feels thoughtfully put together rather than just thrown together with whatever furniture was on sale. The kitchenettes actually work properly – I’m talking full-sized fridge, decent stovetop, all the basics you need if you want to grab fresh tomatoes and feta from the little market around the corner instead of eating out every single meal. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, which is more than I can say for half the places I’ve stayed on Greek islands. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central. You get just enough of that Faliraki energy to know you’re in the thick of things, but you can actually sleep without earplugs.

Honestly, the location is kind of perfect if you think about it. You’re a five-minute walk from Anthony Quinn Bay (well, maybe seven if you’re carrying beach gear and stopping for coffee), and even closer to the main Faliraki beach when you want that classic resort vibe. But here’s what the booking sites don’t tell you – you’re also close enough to catch the local bus that runs along the coast, so day trips to Lindos or even Rhodes Town are totally doable without renting a car. Olga herself is one of those hosts who somehow knows exactly when to chat and when to leave you alone, plus she’s got insider knowledge about which tavernas the locals actually eat at versus the tourist traps. The whole place has this relaxed, family-run feeling that makes that 9.1 rating make total sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails everything it sets out to do. If you want to experience Faliraki without feeling like you’re stuck in some generic hotel bubble, this is honestly your best bet.

  perfect location!
  2 minute walk to the beach all the Abe’s and restaurant are within a 2-10 minute walk.
  the property itself was so perfect. bathroom with shower, kitchen with coffee maker sink some cups plates etc. little cooker and convection oven. WiFi was excellent connection and speed. TV had basic Greek channels with some English shows.
  balcony was lovely with a sun shade. doors have bug screens so it’s possible to leave the door open and no fear of anything coming in.
  
  I dealt with Anna during my stay. she was so lovely and helpful. She did everything possible to make our stay easy and comfortable!

  The owner Anna is very welcoming! Explains everything thoroughly… Very kind and hospital. The room is very clean and has all the necessities for a long stay. The location is just a three minute walk to the beach with restaurants, shopping and cafes all around! Exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back to stay at Olga studios in the future.
