Lachania has this laid-back energy that a lot of the more popular spots on Rhodes have lost – you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, kids playing in the village square in the evenings, that sort of thing. Plus, being on the southern coast means you’re getting some of the best sunset views on the island, especially during summer months when the sun sets right over the water from this angle. Just keep in mind that like most beachfront places in Greece, July and August can get pretty busy, so if you prefer things quieter, late spring or early fall might be your sweet spot.
