You know what struck me first about Odyssea? It’s not actually right on the beach like you might expect from the name, but honestly, that turned out to be a blessing. The place sits just back from the main coastal stretch in Kremasti, which means you get those gorgeous sea views without the constant parade of beach vendors and tour groups walking past your balcony.

The apartment setup is really well thought out – I mean, whoever designed this actually stayed in vacation rentals before because they got the details right. The kitchen has proper sharp knives (shocking, I know), the shower has decent water pressure, and there’s enough counter space that you’re not doing that awkward dance around your travel partner while making coffee. The pool area is where this place really shines though. It’s not huge, but it’s positioned so you can float around in the late afternoon and watch the sun hit the water in the distance. Most of the other guests seemed to be European families who’d found this spot through word of mouth rather than the big booking sites, which kept things pretty chill.

Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute walk to the main Kremasti beach, but here’s the thing locals know – if you head left instead of right when you hit the sand, there’s a much quieter stretch where the water’s cleaner and you can actually hear yourself think. The apartment is also perfectly positioned for exploring the rest of Rhodes if that’s your thing. You can catch the bus to Rhodes Town right from the main road (though honestly, renting a scooter for a day or two is way more fun). There’s a solid taverna called Takis about five minutes down the hill that doesn’t look like much from the outside but does this grilled octopus that’ll ruin you for the tourist places.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt after a few days – you know that point where you stop feeling like a tourist and start feeling like you’re just… living somewhere nice for a while? The 9.4 rating makes total sense when you realize it’s not trying to be a fancy resort. It’s just a really well-run place that delivers on what it promises. The sea view is legit (not some sliver you have to crane your neck to see), the pool is clean and gets sun most of the day, and everything works the way it should. Plus, parking is included, which saved me probably 15 euros a day compared to what I paid at my last place in Lindos. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and being close enough to everything that matters, this is it.

  The apartment is huge, with a beautiful living room and kitchen, comfy beds, a big TV and AC in every room. It's very quiet amd clean. Rhodes town is 20 minutes, Faliraki 30 minutes from there, so the location is very good. There is a cute little beach in 3 minutes of walk, with the best gyro we ate. The owners (a couple) are such nice people, we could'nt believe it. They are the prime example of greek hospitality. They helped with anything we asked from them. We highly, highly recommend them to anyone who wants to spend time on Rhodes in peace!

  The house is in a very good location, 2 minutes to the sea. the terrace offers a wonderful view of the sea, everything is very clean and new

  Wspaniały , przestronny , nowoczesny i bardzo dobrze wyposażony apartament. Niczego nam nie brakowało Przesympatyczni właściciele. Na powitanie czekało na nas winko oraz pyszne owoce. Wspaniały tarasik oraz ogród z jacuzzi. Największy plus to bliskość plaży – 3 minuty. Kolor wody – obłędny. Tylko 10 minut spacerkiem do centrum .
