Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first climbed the stone steps to Noema Lindos – it’s tucked away in a spot where you’d walk right past if you didn’t know it was there. But that’s actually part of its charm, you know? The Athena Apartment sits in this quiet corner of Lindos where you can still hear the evening conversations drifting from the tavernas below, but you’re not dealing with the constant foot traffic that plagues some of the places right on the main tourist drag.

What really got me was stepping onto that terrace for the first time – I mean, they don’t oversell the view in the photos, but seeing the Acropolis lit up at night while you’re having your morning coffee is something else entirely. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel room, which sounds cliché but it’s true. There’s this attention to detail that you don’t usually get – proper wine glasses (not plastic), a kitchen that’s actually equipped if you want to grab some of those incredible tomatoes from the morning market, and honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on a Greek island. The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need versus what looks good in listing photos.

Location-wise, you’re about a seven-minute walk down to St. Paul’s Bay if you take your time on those ancient cobblestones (wear good shoes, seriously). The main Lindos beach is maybe ten minutes the other way, though I’d recommend hitting it early before the day-trip crowds arrive from Rhodes town around 11am. What I really appreciated was being able to duck back to the apartment during the brutal afternoon heat – that AC is no joke, and there’s something to be said for having your own space when everywhere else is packed with tourists wielding selfie sticks. The whole setup just works, especially if you’re planning to stay more than a night or two and want to actually live a bit rather than just crash between beach sessions. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the water pressure in the shower is fantastic – you know how that can be hit or miss in older buildings on these islands.

  We booked Noema apartment that is called Athena. It is absolutely beautiful! Everything is so tasteful, every piece is of high quality. It is also very well equipped.
  It was very nice to come back from the hot weather to a well cooled apartment! And the terrace with that amazing view is just incredible!
  Location is perfect. As well as the host Athena – very kind, friendly and attentive person.

  Clean, comfortable, new stylish design. Air conditioning, thanks to which you can hide from the hit) Great view from the very nice roof terrace. In apartment there is fast WiFi. All restaurants, supermarkets are nearby. Short way to the sea)

  Very stylish, everything was new and clean. Roof terrace was lovely with an amazing view. Good kitchen facilities. Spacious and air con worked perfectly (2 air con machines in the apartment).

  Had everything we needed, beds were comfy. Balcony was a bonus with a sun umbrella too. Host was very friendly and helpful. A short walk to restaurants, shops and the beach but also out of the way of the busiest spots

  Leiligheten var moderne og svært estetisk innredet. Den var praktisk og hadde god planløsning i tillegg.
  Beliggenhet var sentral, men samtidig litt tilbaketrukkent. Likte godt at det var ca 10 minutter å gå til begge strendene.
  Verten var oppmerksom og svarte raskt på henvendelser. Veldig imøtekommende og hjelpsom.
  Jeg reiste med min sønn på 16 år og løsningen med to adskilte soverom med store gode senger passet oss perfekt.
  Uteplassen hadde nydelig utsikt.
