Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Nisi Living Concept – I mean, Ialysos isn’t exactly where most tourists end up when they hit Rhodes. But you know what? That’s actually part of what makes this place special. It sits right on Ialysos Beach, and I’m talking literally steps from the sand, not some “beach-adjacent” marketing nonsense where you’re hauling your stuff for ten minutes.

The hotel itself has this really clean, modern vibe that feels more like a boutique spot than your typical Greek island accommodation. The rooms are what they call “concept living” – basically think minimalist design but actually comfortable, not the kind where you’re afraid to touch anything. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night. Ialysos doesn’t have the party scene of Rhodes Town (which is about 20 minutes away if you’re driving), so you actually get to sleep without bass thumping until 4 AM. The staff genuinely seem to care too – not in that scripted way, but like they’re actually invested in whether you’re having a good time.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize: Ialysos Beach is where the windsurfers go. So if you’re into that or just like watching people who are way more coordinated than you attempt to stay upright, it’s perfect entertainment. The beach itself is pebbly rather than sandy, which honestly I prefer because you’re not finding sand in your everything for weeks afterward. Plus, there’s this little taverna about a five-minute walk down the beach – can’t remember the exact name, but the owner’s this older Greek guy who makes the best grilled octopus I’ve had outside of Santorini. The hotel staff will point you in the right direction if you ask.

Parking was surprisingly easy (trust me, this matters in Greece), and check-in was smooth – none of that “your room isn’t ready until 6 PM” drama. The whole property has maybe 30 rooms, so it never feels crowded, even during peak season. I was there in July, which is obviously busy time, but it still felt relaxed. The pool area is small but well-designed, and the real win is the terrace where you can actually see the sunset over the Aegean without fighting crowds for the view.

Look, it’s not the fanciest place on Rhodes – if you want marble everything and a spa, head to Lindos. But if you’re looking for something that feels authentically Greek without the tourist trap prices, and you don’t mind being a bit outside the main action, Nisi Living Concept hits that sweet spot. The 9 rating it’s got makes sense – it’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does, it does really well.

  Great place near local shops and restaurants!
  
  What could be improved: The shower could have more heat.. it was easier to get cold water then a hot shower 🧼

  The location of the property is good, very close to stores and restaurants. The staff was extremely responsive and supportive during our stay. The underground garage was a very positive surprise, the rental car was standing on the sun during the day, which was a big plus since we travelled with 3 kids.
  
  What could be improved: I know it's hard to avoid, but some evenings we had an issue with neighbours being loud during the night. Again we travelled with three kids, so that's the reason behind my complaint. This is also subjective, but we had to take long rides to find a beach meeting our expectations since we were not too impressed with the beaches in the close proximity of the property.

  A beautiful villa with nice location. Lots of great restaurants within a walking distance. Ok (pebble) beach in 5 minutes walk. The area is rather quiet but for our family it offered anything needed. We also travelleved to Rhodes centre and old town by taxi (15 euros one way) and rented a car to visit Lindos and some of the other cities in the east coast. In Lindos, Faliraki, Tsambika and Afandou you can find better beaches if that is what you're looking for.
  
  And of course we spent many days just enjoying the private pool. It is really nice to have an own pool for the family.
  
  What could be improved: At some nights there was little disturbance from the neighbours who did not respect the quiet hours. Also the environment from the Symi villa is not the best, as there is an ugly building 10 metres from the pool.
  
  The check in was not super convinient as I did not receive the door code in advance. I had to be active and make two phone calls, one from the airport to notice that we will arrive to the villa and one from the front door to get some information how to actually get in. But these were just minor issues, the overall feeling of the holiday was highly positive! We would be happy to return here.

  What could be improved: Not a lot of restaurants nearby at walking distance. Only get few towels for 4 people for a week.

  Lovely villa in a good location to lots of restaurants. Nice size swimming pool.
  
  What could be improved: There was a problem with ants. There are no cupboards in the kitchen to store food so ants just appear everywhere (even when there isn’t food out!). Couldn’t keep any rubbish in the bin as again ants would just appear.

  Lyhyt matka kävellen rannalle ja ravintoloihin. Siisti mukava oma piha altaalla ja yhteinen grillikatos tarjosi hyvät puitteet ruuanlaitolle. Isäntä oli erityisen mukava ja auttoi kaikessa mahdollisessa.

  Das Haus lädt zum entspannen ein, die Lage ist perfekt 2 Minuten zum Strand, sehr viele Restaurants in der Nähe sowie Shops und Supermärkte und die Shoppingmeile alles zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar! Sollte man doch mal weiter Weck wollen kann man sich um wenig Geld ein Auto mieten auch da findet man nur wenige Minuten entfernt eine Riesen Auswahl! Wir sind nur schweren Herzens wieder gefahren! War wirklich sehr sehr schön

  At man havde sin egen private pool, der var alt man skulle bruge i huset, håndklædder til poolen, der var fælles vaskemaskine inkl. vaskepulver, p-kælder under huset med direkte opgang til dit hus, der var kun 5 min til byen med mange gode restauranter,

  Perfekt för vår 3‐generations semester då alla hade de utrymmen som man behövde både inne & ute.
  Mysig trädgård med olika rum för dagens olika aktiviteter.
  Rent & snyggt. Nära havet & låg i ett mkt lugnt område.
  
  What could be improved: Badrummsdörren på andra våningen skulle kunna öppnas från hallen så att dem i sovrummet utan direkranslutning till badrummet inte behövde gå igenom det andra sovrummet på kväll/natt/morgon.
  Saknade ett eluttag vid soffan I vardagsrummet.
