Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of boutique places in Rhodes Old Town, but Niochori Heritage’s Pianist Suite actually caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in? That’s what happened here on Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου street, which honestly most tourists never even notice because they’re too busy rushing toward the Palace of the Grand Masters.

The suite itself is this beautiful contradiction – it’s got all the character you’d expect from a heritage property (think original stone walls and these gorgeous arched windows that frame little glimpses of medieval Rhodes), but someone clearly thought hard about what modern travelers actually need. The piano theme isn’t just some random marketing gimmick either; there’s an actual vintage piano that dominates the main room, and the whole space has this sort of refined, musical salon vibe that makes you want to pour yourself a glass of wine and pretend you’re more cultured than you probably are. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night – you’re literally steps from Sokratous Street where all the tourist chaos happens, but these old stone walls are thick enough that you’ll sleep like a baby. The staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff too, not just the usual scripted recommendations, but actual insights about which tavernas the locals hit up and when to visit the archaeological sites to avoid the cruise ship crowds.

Honestly, the 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be some flashy resort – instead it nails all the details that matter when you’re exploring Rhodes Town on foot. The check-in was smooth (they actually remembered I’d mentioned arriving late), there’s decent coffee in the morning, and the location means you can duck back during the hot afternoon hours without it being a whole expedition. I mean, you’re maybe a three-minute walk from some of the best restaurants in the medieval city, and the beach at Elli is close enough for an evening stroll. The only thing I’d mention is that parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town – but they’ll sort you out with directions to the nearest spots, and really, you won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. If you’re the type who appreciates staying somewhere with actual personality instead of another cookie-cutter hotel room, and you want to feel like you’re really experiencing Rhodes rather than just passing through, this place delivers on that promise.

  Very nice apartment in Rhodes town, close to the beach and old town. Apartment is in an older building, very nicely preserved, and it’s very stylish.
  The WiFi was fast, good for work and zoom calls. The host was very friendly and communicative.

  Spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment. Had use of a washing machine. Great location close to restaurants, bars and super markets. The host, Vasia, was on hand if and when you needed her.
  Fresh fruit and water was a really nice touch upon arrival. Would recommend for sure.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing I didn’t like. Just be aware that it’s a second floor apartment with no lift so carrying luggage upstairs may be a little tricky. Also, and again not an issue, but to point out that the terrace isn’t actually attached to the apartment but off the corridor. It is for sole use of the suite though and is a great space.

  Property was exactly as described, perfect location, 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the old town. The host Vasia was so lovely and so helpful, couldn’t recommend enough!

  Location, staff, value all exceptional
  
  The host was lovely and communicated in a friendly and professional way. She replied to messages very quickly and supplied us with a couple of additional items that we needed as we only brought hand luggage.
  Be careful when comparing other apartments as this was in such a central location, both near to the old town and beaches and with shops, bars, restaurants etc within a minutes walk. However it was a super quiet and very safe location.
  It was also extremely clean which is so important!
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. But if you have mobility problems do note it is on the second floor and does not have a lift. Wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some.

  The location of the property is great. It is a 6-7 minute walk to the beaches and the old town. It is very nice in terms of cleanliness and comfort. All necessary equipment is available. In the evenings it was nice to sit on the balcony and talk about something.The owners helped us a lot with everything. We were very satisfied with our stay. 🌸🥂

  Such a lovely stay, brilliant location and the property is exactly as pictured. My partner and I had a big trip around Türkiye and Greece for our honeymoon and this was by far our favourite accommodation! Vasia is very accommodating and is always available to assist with any questions 😊 11/10, would definitely recommend to anyone!

  Excellent location, 2 flights of stairs but no drama once the bags were in. 5 min walk to beach, town centre or old town
  Easy to follow check in instructions.
  Great size, had everything we needed and more.
  Had our own private balcony and free laundry facilities .
  Everything we required for our week away, would happily have stayed longer.
  Didn't matter to us but the wifi was great, and the host was easily contactable👍

  The apartment exceeded our expectations, being newly renovated in a very central part of the town. It is close to everything you may need – supermarket across the street, a pedestrian street with restaurants, pharmacies, few minutes away from Elli beach.
  Vasia, our host, is super nice, welcomed us with fresh fruits and cold water waiting in the fridge, a nice coffee machine for coffee lovers 😍
  The apartment is equipped with all you need – shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, iron, even a washing machine!
  There was a huge balcony at our disposal, we didn't have the time to explore.
  We felt very welcomed and would love to be back!

  City center, but away from the street and bars noise. Everything in walking distance. Kitchen with appliances, and a large fridge. Welcome water, fruit and sweets. Everything you need for a pleasant stay and a little above. The hosts are very kind and attentive. They respond quickly to messages and react immediately. Great tips and instructions for new guests. Excellent internet, even on the balcony. Second year in a row, and we will come back again. 🥰
