Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Nikolas Apartment in Pefki – you know how these smaller Greek places can be hit or miss. But this spot actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into this quieter part of Pefki where you’re not dealing with the main tourist chaos, but still close enough that you can walk to everything that matters. The whole area has this laid-back vibe that’s perfect if you want to experience Rhodes without feeling like you’re stuck in a resort bubble.

What really won me over was how the owners clearly get what travelers actually need. The apartments themselves are spacious – I mean properly spacious, not that cramped European “cozy” you sometimes get. There’s actual room to spread out your stuff and not live out of a suitcase for a week. The kitchenettes are functional too, which is huge if you want to grab some of those amazing local tomatoes and feta from the market and make a simple breakfast instead of paying hotel prices every morning. The balconies face different directions depending on which unit you get, but honestly, they all catch decent light and you can usually spot the sea through the pine trees if you crane your neck a bit.

The location is what sealed it for me though – Pefki sits right between Lindos and some of the island’s best beaches, so you’re never more than a 10-minute drive from something worth seeing. The beach right in town is actually pretty solid, especially in the early morning before the day-trippers arrive from Rhodes Town. And here’s something most people don’t realize: the walk to Lindos along the coastal path is absolutely gorgeous if you time it right, maybe late afternoon when the light gets all golden. The family running Nikolas gave me directions to a little taverna tucked behind the main strip that serves this incredible slow-cooked lamb – definitely not something you’d find on your own. Parking can get tight during peak summer weeks, but there’s usually space if you’re not precious about walking an extra block or two. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury, everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a Greek island stay.

  Lovely quiet location, 5 minutes walk to a tiny secluded beach with a few sunbeds. Supermarket and pool bar across the road, restaurant owned by the apartment owners next door where we could always find them. We didn't go to the restaurant but it looked lovely. Short 10 minute walk into more central Pefki which looked quite lively and busy with loads of places to eat. Lindos was nearby easy to drive to a very popular location. Also Plakia beach is very near and really nice. Apartment was spotless and the owner came in to clean every few days. Really nice, very large shaded balcony.

  Clean, spacious, quiet, fully equipped room. Warm and very hospitable hosts. Good location, close to Kavos beach, with nice views and a very big veranda. Very warmly recommended!

  Die Wohnung befindet sich im Obergeschoss eines zweistöckigen Gebäudes und bietet eine sehr großzügige Terrasse mit Sonnenliegen. Sie liegt unmittelbar neben der dazugehörigen Taverne, die hervorragende landestypische Gerichte anbietet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.
  Die Wohnung bietet eine gute Basis, um Rhodos mit dem Mietwagen zu erkunden.

  Wspaniałe wakacje!
  Duży, komfortowy, czysty apartament składający się z: sypialni z łóżkiem małżeńskim, sypialni z 2 pojedynczymi łóżkami, kuchni z kanapą, łazienki, małego balkonu z widokiem na morze i ogromnego tarasu od strony ulicy z bocznym widokiem na morze.
  Auto można było zaparkować na podwórzu.
  Niecałe 5 min. drogi do niewielkiej, piaszczystej plaży Kavos położonej w spokojnej zatoczce.
  Jedzenie: polecamy tawerny „Nikolas” (naszych Gospodarzy) i „Anixis” (ok. 2 min. drogi od kwatery).
  Zakupy: polecamy sklep „Trimmis” (vis a vis tawerny “Anixis”) – dobrze zaopatrzony, przyzwoite ceny.
  Przesympatyczni Gospodarze – podrzucali nam świeże owoce: arbuz, winogrona.
  Kwatera była sprzątana, wymieniano ręczniki.

  Appartamento ampio e confortevole con un gran bel terrazzo e una vista mozzafiato sulla baia (soprattutto al tramonto).
  Accessoriato di tutto (asse e ferro da stiro compresi, casomai vi venisse voglia di usarli con 40 gradi… 🙂 ). Abbiamo segnalato un guasto ad una piastra elettrica e al nostro rientro abbiamo trovato le piastre nuove di zecca installate.
  I proprietari sono gentilissimi e attenti alle esigenze, alle pulizie e al cambio della biancheria.
  Sono anche proprietari della taverna Nikola's adiacente che, dopo averne provate almeno una decina in Pefkos e dintorni, posso affermare essere una delle migliori (a me è piaciuto tantissimo il loro humus) anche come prezzi.

  Sehr gute Ferienwohnung mit Frühstücksterrasse und Abendbalkon. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage zum Strand und Blick über die Bucht ist einzigartig.

  Sehr schöne geräumige Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Tolle hilfsbereite Vermieter. Es wurde mehr geboten als erwartet. Tolle Sicht zum Sonnenuntergang. Riesige überdachte Terrasse.
