Okay, so Nicole Luxury Villas – I’ll be honest, the name had me a bit skeptical at first because you know how these “luxury” places can oversell themselves. But this spot in Koskinou actually delivers, and I mean really delivers. The location is pretty clever too – you’re tucked away in this quiet residential area near Agios Varvaras, which locals just call Ag. Varvaras, but you’re still only about ten minutes from Rhodes town when you need to get into the action.

What struck me first was how peaceful it feels here. Koskinou isn’t one of those tourist trap villages – it’s got this authentic Greek island vibe where you’ll hear roosters in the morning (not kidding) and see locals walking to the kafeneio for their morning coffee. The villa itself sits on this ground floor setup that’s perfectly private, and honestly, the attention to detail is what sets it apart. The outdoor spaces are gorgeous – there’s this pool area that feels like your own private retreat, and the way they’ve designed the terracing… well, it’s obvious someone who actually understands Mediterranean living planned this place.

The inside is where that 9.9 rating makes total sense. Everything feels substantial, you know? The kind of place where the shower pressure is perfect, the air conditioning actually works properly (which, trust me, matters in July), and the kitchen is set up like someone who cooks designed it. I loved the little touches – quality linens that don’t feel like hotel generic stuff, proper lighting for reading, and this whole flow between indoor and outdoor spaces that just works. The WiFi is solid too, which is more than I can say for half the places I’ve stayed on the islands.

What really won me over though is the location within Koskinou itself. You’re walking distance to some fantastic tavernas that tourists never find – there’s this one place where the grandmother still makes the dolmades by hand, and the locals treat you like family once they realize you’re staying in the neighborhood rather than just passing through. The beach at Kallithea is close enough for a quick trip, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds and beach bar noise all day.

If I’m being completely honest, the only minor thing is that you’ll want a car – it’s not really a walk-to-everything situation, but the parking is easy and stress-free. During peak season (July-August), book way ahead because places like this with actual character fill up fast. The rest of the year, it’s this perfect balance of being lively enough to feel connected but quiet enough to actually relax. For the price point and that location, honestly, I can’t think of anything comparable on Rhodes.

  We liked everything about the villa. It is perfect for a family with two children. We were really surprised about the spacious private outside area with pool and barbecue place – it was much larger than expected. The host was really nice and welcoming. She even baked us a greek cake 😋
  
  What could be improved: Only downside was that you need a car to access the proprety as it is located outside of the town.

  The property was beautifully presented and clean. We had the most gorgeous few days staying at Nicole luxury villas and the pool and garden area was amazing! Nicole’s attention to detail was great inside the villa too, the beds were comfortable, the coffee was strong and we loved the total black out blinds allowing us (and our baby!) to have a holiday lie in! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable, we will definitely be back.

  The place was very private and beautiful. We enjoyed the big garden and pool very much. And when it got too hot outside, airconditioning helped us cool us down inside 🙂 Ourania is super friendly and helpful host and really makes you feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay at this villa!

  An idyllic oasis with all you could wish for as a place of relaxation and peace. An accomodation which is maintained to the highest standards with Ourania an incredibly generous and caring host.
  
  The garden and are beautiful with a huge amount of space provided and lots of personal touches during your stay.
  
  As others have said there is nothing within walking distance so a car is a must.
  
  What could be improved: Google maps was hopeless in finding the villa. Arriving at night the 'recommended' route takes you on a bit of a wild goose chase on minor unlit roads which left us confused. Tip would be to get on to the I95 and use alternative route which is better (Will still require a U-Turn)

  An amazing villa with so many extra special little details. The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious with all you will need. The air-conditioning was super and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor spaces are where this villa stands out and made it a very special holiday for the kids. The pool was perfect and there are so many little details which the kids loved exploring. A special mention for Ourania who was a very attentive host and looked after us so well during our stay.

  The garden and the house itself- everything just great and anything you may need on your holiday. The hostess was the best!!! She was always available and very helpful with anything we asked. The Netflix – a great convenience. A well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of space in the house and outside.
  
  What could be improved: The area around it and the need to use a car to do the shopping or to get anywhere.
