You know what struck me first about Nerida Beachfront Villas? The silence. I mean, sure, you can hear the waves – you’re literally right on Plimmiri Beach – but there’s this peaceful quiet that’s hard to find at most Greek island spots these days. The whole southern tip of Rhodes feels different from the touristy northern bits, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place work.

The villas themselves are spread out enough that you’re not dealing with balcony neighbors, which I actually appreciate more than I thought I would. Each one has this terrace situation that faces the sea, and in the mornings – well, you’ll want to get up early at least once because the light hitting the water is pretty spectacular. The interiors are what I’d call “comfortable modern” – not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything works and feels clean. The kitchenettes are actually functional too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I picked up groceries in nearby Kattavia (about 10 minutes by car) and made coffee on the terrace most mornings instead of trekking somewhere for breakfast.

What really sold me on the place was how the staff seemed to know the area inside and out. When I asked about hiking spots, they didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – they told me about this trail that leads up to some Byzantine ruins that most people miss completely. And when the wind picked up one afternoon (the southern coast can get breezy), they suggested driving over to the sheltered side near Apolakia instead of fighting the beach conditions. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold, you know? The beach right in front of the villas is this mix of sand and pebbles, pretty typical for this part of Rhodes, but it stays relatively uncrowded even in summer since you have to drive a bit to get here. There’s decent snorkeling if you swim out past the rocks – I saw some decent fish life, nothing spectacular but better than I expected. Parking’s never an issue, which sounds boring but trust me, after dealing with the chaos in Rhodes Town, you’ll appreciate just pulling up and walking to your door. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you factor in that it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. It’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but for a solid base to explore the quieter side of Rhodes – or honestly, to just decompress by the water – it hits the mark pretty well.

  The room is large, everything you need is available, there is fast internet and air conditioning. The children were delighted with the pool. At the start, the host prepared a supply of food and drinks, which is very nice. The nearest town for shopping is 15 minutes away by car

  Great location with direct beach access. Perfect for a family! Very close to Plasonisi for Kitesurfing.

  when we arrived and had groceries prepacked in the condo was great! located on the beautiful coast and a beach within a few short steps of the property was amazing for our family!

  Location and view.
  If you search for a quiet place, it's a really nice location.
  rooms had an AC, a nice pool, kitchen was well equipped.

  What could be improved: It mentioned four rooms in the description of the property, but it actually has three rooms and one open space with the living room and kitchen, so we didn't have any privacy as we expected… the house was a bit old, and it was felt in several rooms and shower.
