I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Nόka Suite Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much from a place tucked away in Faliraki. I mean, let’s face it, this area gets a bit of a reputation for being all about the party scene and package tourists. But actually walking into this place? Completely different story. The suites are genuinely spacious (and I don’t mean hotel-brochure spacious, I mean you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase), and there’s this quiet, almost residential feel that’s refreshing when you’re staying somewhere that’s technically still close to all the action.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to strike this balance between being modern without feeling sterile. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – you know, with actual sharp knives and pans that aren’t completely warped – which is something I always appreciate when I’m staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. The location is honestly perfect if you understand Faliraki a bit. You’re far enough from the main strip that you won’t have drunk Brits singing football chants under your window at 3 AM, but close enough that you can walk to Anthony Quinn Bay in about fifteen minutes if you take the little path behind the hotel (ask at reception, they’ll point it out). The beach at Faliraki proper is maybe a ten-minute walk, and honestly, early morning is when you want to hit it anyway – before the sunbed wars begin and when the water’s still got that perfect clarity.

The staff here actually seem to care, which sounds like such a low bar but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They remembered my name after the first day, and when I mentioned I was looking for a good taverna that wasn’t touristy, the guy at the front desk didn’t just rattle off the usual suspects – he actually drew me a little map to this family place up in the hills where his cousin works. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. The 9.5 rating makes sense when you’re there; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything they do, they do well. The cleaning is thorough, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, and – this is key – the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter. Small things, but they add up when you’re trying to relax. If you’re looking for somewhere in Rhodes that gives you easy access to the beaches and nightlife but doesn’t feel like you’re staying in the middle of a theme park, this is your spot.

  I would highly recommend these apartments, they have recently been built so the property is in really good condition. I had a room with a hot tub in the balcony, which was a great addition. The apartments are in a perfect location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre of Falaraki. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, so if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Rhodes I would recommend Noka Suites.

  The host was very accommodating helping us with all our needs but also giving us all the privacy we expect. It was a nice distance from the town centre with all places to eat and drink. The property itself was beautiful and clean.

  Absolutely fabulous accommodation, the private pool was well worth the money, the accommodation was modern, extremely clean and tidy and in a lovely location just a short 15 minute walk to the main centre of faliraki. We also use the electric bikes and scooters nearby to get around. Will definitely return

  We had an amazing stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The location is excellent, and the apartment was spotless and well equipped. I highly recommend choosing the one with the private pool (there is also a bigger one to share with other quests).

  Incredible facilities, clean room, 15 minute walk into town and bus stop near by. Wine, coffee, tea and water was complimentary upon arrival, nice touch, and room is cleaned every day. The host was amazing, very attentive and willing to go above and beyond with local recommendations. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

  It’s a little gem: so stylish, comfortable and peaceful. The room is very nice and neat and someone comes to clean daily. The common area with a poll is designed very well so there is always a shadow and a sun – we visited in late September. The hosts are incredible: my partner had a toothache so they made an appointment with a great dentist.
  Location is great too: very quiet but within walking distance to the beach and the restaurants.
  I hope this place will always be such a lovely place to stay and wish the hosts all the best in their business!
