You know what really got me about Mythos Luxury Villa? It’s tucked away on Heras Street in Faliraki, but honestly, you’d never guess you’re just minutes from all that crazy beach party action. I mean, Faliraki has this reputation for being spring break central, but this place feels like you’ve stumbled into some wealthy Greek family’s private retreat.

The villa itself is genuinely stunning – and I’m someone who’s seen plenty of “luxury” places that are all marble and no soul. This one actually gets it right. The architecture has that authentic Aegean vibe without feeling like a theme park, if you know what I mean. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even during peak summer madness. You’re close enough to walk to Anthony Quinn Bay (seriously, do not miss that spot – the water is absolutely ridiculous), but far enough up the hillside that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3am. The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, honestly. It’s got these incredible views looking out toward the coast, and there’s something about the way they’ve positioned the loungers that makes you feel completely private even when the place is full.

The rooms are spacious – actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious – and the bathrooms have these rainfall showers that I’m still thinking about months later. Small thing, but the air conditioning actually works properly, which isn’t always a given in Greece during July. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven around Rhodes will appreciate. The staff really knows their stuff about the island – they pointed me toward this little taverna in Lindos that wasn’t in any guidebook but served the best lamb I had the entire trip. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around in the lobby situation. What sets this place apart from the resort hotels down by the beach is that it feels personal. You’re not just room number whatever – they remember that you like your coffee strong or that you’re planning to catch the early ferry to Symi. The location is perfect for exploring too, actually. You’re about twenty minutes from Rhodes Town if you want to wander the medieval streets, but you can also hit Tsambika Beach or drive up to the Acropolis of Lindos without it feeling like a major expedition. The whole area around Faliraki is honestly underrated once you get away from the main strip – there are these incredible hiking trails and hidden coves that most people completely miss. With a 9.1 rating, this place has clearly figured out how to do luxury without the pretentious nonsense that usually comes with it.

  Beautiful villa, we loved the garden with a good sized pool and comfy sun beds. Large living area with big sofas and a big table. Beds were comfy and air con was great. Perfect location about 5 minutes walk from Faliraki bars and restaurants. Nick was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

  The location was superb for our family as we have 2 older sons that could safely go and do their own thing. The outdoor area was amazing. The pool got cleaned, and gardens are well maintained.
  
  What could be improved: As previous reviews the kitchen utensils were minimal, this didn’t impact us too much are there are lots of very good restaurants to choose from.

  Der Außenbereich war sehr schön, wenn man raus geht wird man direkt mit einem pool unter Palmen und sechs Liegen überrascht. Der Innenbereich hat auch völlig ausgereicht, es gab zwei Couch mit jeweils einem Fernseher, eine Küche mit Esstisch (im Innen und Außenbereich), 3 Schlafzimmer in denen jeweils 2 personen schlafen können und zwei Toiletten. Dazu hat man noch eine eigene Einfahrt mit Parkplätzen und das komplette Gelände ist bepflanzt oder mit Mauern umzäunt.
  
  What could be improved: An diesem Urlaub gab es wirklich fast nichts auszusetzen. Man konnte von dem Balkon der Apartments neben uns auf unseren Außenbereich schauen, womit die Privatsphäre nicht unbedingt gegeben ist, aber das hat uns jetzt relativ wenig gestört.

  Le logements en général était très bien. La localisation est parfaite et l’accueil de Nick était top.

  De locatie was erg goed. Direct bij winkels en restaurants, maar toch in een hele rustige straat. Erg mooie tuin met fijn zwembad en goede ligbedden. Voldoende handdoeken en contactpersoon erg goed bereikbaar. Fijne afgesloten poort ,eigen oprit en auto onder overkapping op eigen terrein parkeren. Verder goede bedden en fijne banken en prima bedden. Badkamer prima. Goed ontvangst, zeer aardig ontvangen! Ook voldoende handdoeken en schoonmaak op verzoek. Zwembad werd ook goed bijgehouden.
  
  What could be improved: De foto's op Booking.com waren zeker 10 a 15 jaar oud. De palmboom op de foto was nu veel groter en er stond naast de villa een compleet appartementencomplex met 15 appartementen. Ten tijde van de gemaakte foto's was dit nog een grasveld. Het interieur van de villa is prima, maar de keuken was erg oud en niet schoon. Ook weinig borden, bestek en pannen e.d. Wij zijn 19 dagen geweest en iedere dag uit eten gegaan vanwege de slechte en vieze keuken. Ik vind dit niet bij de huurprijs van de villa passen. Kitnaden erg vies en muffe kastjes. De foto's zijn niet meer representatief zoals de staat van de villa nu is. Prima villa, maar prijs mag wel omlaag voor wat je krijgt!
