You know what struck me first about Mythic Spa Villa? It’s tucked away on Αγίου Φανουρίου street in a way that feels intentional – like someone actually thought about where to put a proper spa retreat instead of just grabbing whatever corner was available. I mean, you’re still in Rhodes Town, so you can walk to the medieval Old Town in about ten minutes, but the street itself has this quiet residential vibe that most tourists never see. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-appointed villa than a typical hotel, which honestly makes sense given the name.

The spa element isn’t just marketing fluff either – they’ve actually built the place around wellness in a way that works. The treatment rooms have this natural light thing going on that’s hard to describe, sort of like they positioned everything to catch the afternoon sun just right. I noticed they use local olive oil products and some Greek skincare brands I’d never heard of but should probably look into. The pool area (which doubles as where you’ll probably spend most of your downtime) faces away from the street noise, and there’s enough space between loungers that you’re not accidentally eavesdropping on someone’s phone call home. Parking was surprisingly straightforward too – they’ve got a small lot that doesn’t require the usual Rhodes Town parallel parking gymnastics.

What really gets me about this place is how they handle the details without making a big show of it. The rooms feel substantial, like they invested in proper mattresses and blackout curtains instead of just Instagram-worthy throw pillows. Air conditioning actually works (you’d be surprised how often this is an issue in Greek hotels), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – honestly, these things matter more than fancy lobby art when you’re dealing with summer heat and long sightseeing days. The 9.4 rating makes total sense when you consider that most guests are probably comparing it to other places in the area, and well, most other places in Rhodes Town are either massive resort complexes or tiny family-run spots with questionable WiFi. This hits that sweet spot of feeling personal while actually functioning like a proper hotel. If you’re planning to use Rhodes as a base for exploring the island rather than just lounging by a pool all week, the location works perfectly – close enough to everything that matters, far enough from the cruise ship crowds that descend on Mandraki Harbor every morning.

  Great location with old town flavour. This is an immaculately clean beautiful home with lots of nice decorating details. The owners were friendly and helpful. We really appreciated their help in setting up a private tour of the island for the four of us as well as their dining suggestions. Our time in Rhodes will be fondly remembered.

  Fantastic, unique apartment full of interesting furniture and ornaments. It feels like you are living in medieval times but with 21st century comforts 🙂
  Great outdoor courtyard and hot tub. Great location inside the walls of the old town really close to loads of restaurants.
  Host (Anna) met us on arrival and was really welcoming. Beer, wine, tea, coffee, juice was left for us.
  Hosts were very helpful and kind enough to let us leave our luggage after check out on the last day as we had a late flight.
  Thanks for everything Anna we had a fantastic stay.

  Merkezde old town’da her yere yakın bir konumda. Kalabalık aile grubu için ideal bir konaklama yeri .
  4 yatak odası 3 banyo bizim için oldukça yeterliydi. Ev müze sanki , tarihin içinde yaşıyorsunuz .
  Sahibi Apostolis son derece güleryüzlü , eksiklerimizi anında giderdi . Filtre kahve makinesi, nespresso , portakal sıkma makinesi ve tüm araç gereçleriyle mutfak bizim için yeterliydi. Sabahları kahvaltıyı evin ( avlu ) bahçesinde gölgede çok rahat yaptık .
  Evi temizleyen Anna bizi güler yüzle karşıladı ve ev hakkında tüm bilgileri verdi. Ayrıca hoşgeldiniz olarak da bir Şişe Şampanyayı buzdolabında bizim için soğutmuştu .
  
  What could be improved: Evde 4. oda ( mutfak yanındaki odada )klima yoktu ve pencere yoktu . Taş kaplı oval tavanlı bir oda olduğu için klima konulmasına imkan yok . Odada vantilatör vardı . Bu oda küçük çocukların konaklaması için uygun . Bahçe akşam yemek dönüşü biraz sıcak ve esintisiz oluyordu . Son gün Apostolis’e yazdım , bahçede bir vantilatör olsaydı ne kadar iyi olurdu diye. Bizim çıkış yaptığımız sabah yepyeni bir vantilatörle bizi ugurlamaya eve geldi . Bundan sonra orada kalacaklar şanslı 😀
