You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Mylos Luxury Escape Villa on Asklipiou street – honestly, the name sounds a bit over the top, doesn’t it? But this place actually lives up to the hype, which is saying something with that 9.8 rating staring you in the face. It’s tucked away in this quiet pocket of Faliraki where you can still hear the buzz from the main strip but you’re far enough removed that you’ll actually sleep at night. The villa sits on this lovely hillside spot where you catch these glimpses of the Aegean through the olive trees, and I mean, the morning light hitting those white walls… it’s one of those moments where you remember why you came to Rhodes in the first place.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to feel luxurious without being stuffy about it. The rooms have this perfect balance – yes, there’s marble in the bathrooms and the linens are clearly expensive, but there’s also this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your sandals and stay awhile. The owner, Maria, actually lives nearby and you’ll probably run into her watering the bougainvillea or chatting with the gardener in rapid Greek. She’s the type who’ll draw you a little map to the best bakery in town (it’s down near the old church, by the way) and tell you exactly when to hit Kallithea Springs before the tour buses arrive. The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s got these deep blue tiles that make the water look impossibly clear, and there are enough shaded spots that you can escape the afternoon sun without retreating indoors. I spent way too many hours there with a book and a cold Mythos, watching the cats from next door patrol the garden walls.

The thing about staying here is that you’re perfectly positioned to do Faliraki right. Walk fifteen minutes downhill and you’re at Anthony Quinn Bay – which, honestly, gets crowded after 11am but is absolutely magical if you can drag yourself out early. The main Faliraki beach is even closer, and while it gets the party crowd later in the day, the morning swimming is fantastic. Parking can be a bit tricky on the narrow streets (typical for this part of the island), but Maria sorted that out for us without us even asking. The check-in was refreshingly laid-back – none of that hotel desk formality, just genuine Greek hospitality and proper coffee. I’ll be honest, four stars sometimes feels arbitrary, but this place earns every bit of its rating through those little touches that show someone actually cares about your experience. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself planning your next trip back before you’ve even packed to leave.

  We booked this villa as a last minute decision and everything was perfect from the first day to the last day of our stay. The owner was waiting for us in front of the villa and explained us everything. He was very friendly and helpful. In the villa you will find everything you need for an undisturbed and perfect holiday. Swimming area equiped with a small kitchen , grill and the fridge perfect idea. The whle place is very clean and quiet, close to the beach.

  Lage etwas außerhalb von Faliraki und daher sehr ruhig. Dennoch in nur 5 Minuten entspannt zu Fuß zu den Stränden und Tavernen. Super Ausstattung mit eigenem Pool, Whirlpool und Aufzug. Brandneue Villa. Sehr modern und unglaublich sauber dank mehrmaligem Service pro Woche. Super hilfsbereite Vermieter, die sich auch um Transfer, Mietwagen etc. gekümmert haben.

  Wat een fantastische locatie! Een prachtig mooi ingericht huis met een nog mooiere tuin met een groot privé zwembad. Na een warm ontvangst door de eigenaar, kregen we een rondleiding en alle uitleg. Aan alle details is gedacht. Alles wat je op vakantie nodig hebt of misschien nodig kunt hebben, is aanwezig! En de tuin met het zwembad en buitenkeuken is fantastisch. Ondanks de diverse hotels in de omgeving, is het huis rustig gelegen. Je kunt zelf de keuze maken of je de toeristische kant van Falaraki kiest of juist de rustige.

  En veldig fin, velutstyrt leilighet med stort flott uteområde. Eget basseng og jaccuzi. Veldig god standard. Flott beliggenhet hvis man har tenkt å leie bil for å utforske øyen. Er bare en kort kjøretur unna flere flotte strender, Lindos og Rhodos by.
