You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Muses of art Villas on that winding road between Afantou and Psinthou – honestly, the address sounds more complicated than it actually is to find. But the moment I stepped out of the car, I got it. This place sits in this perfect sweet spot where you’re still close enough to Afantou Beach (maybe a 10-minute drive) but far enough up the hillside that you actually feel like you’ve escaped the tourist chaos that can swallow up Rhodes in summer.

The villas themselves are… well, they’re not trying to be some massive resort complex, and that’s exactly why they work. Each one feels like someone’s carefully designed hideaway, with these gorgeous stone details and terraces that actually make sense – you know how sometimes hotel balconies are just afterthoughts? Not here. I spent most mornings with coffee on mine, looking out over olive groves that stretch toward the Aegean, and honestly, the view changes throughout the day in ways that kept surprising me. The art theme isn’t some cheesy gimmick either – there are thoughtful pieces throughout that feel curated, not just slapped on walls to fill space. The pool area is where you really see the attention to detail though. It’s not huge, but it doesn’t need to be, and the way it’s positioned means you get sun most of the day without feeling like you’re baking on concrete.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night – I mean, properly quiet, not that fake quiet where you’re still hearing traffic or neighboring hotels. The location on Eparchiaki Odos means you’re on a local road that locals actually use to get between villages, so during the day there’s just enough life to feel connected, but evenings are yours. The owners clearly know what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth, they had solid recommendations for tavernas in Psinthou (try the one near the church if you go), and when I had a minor issue with the villa’s WiFi, someone was there within twenty minutes. I’ve stayed at plenty of 4-star places that talk a big game about service but can’t deliver when it matters. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two – it’s one of those places where all the small things add up to something genuinely special rather than just impressive on paper.

  Amazing villa with stunning sea view, we had a great family time in a quiet and cozy environment. We found everything we needed to enjoy our time in the villa to the maximum, Eleni recommended us a lot of things around the island. We were able to do an early check in which was also great.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need make your own cooking but we would have appreciated to find some basic ingredients such as salt, pepper.

  The villa was very nice, decorated with taste. One bedroom with nice view to the sea. Especially we like palm tree for the shadow. We found everything what we needed. Host was very welcoming and gave us a lot of useful advices.
  
  What could be improved: Water a bit cold in the pool but still ok. And you need a car for sure to get out from town and reach some nice places and beaches. By foot to get somewhere – difficult.

  Eleni the host was super generous with us and did above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She let us check out late as we had a night flight. As soon as we arrived she sent us all information needed to get around the village and island… Villa suited our needs, was clean, beautifully decorated (country style), everything we asked for was immediately received. Superb!!! The villa is centrally located and easy to get everywhere (the most beautiful beaches, butterfly Valley, Rhodos…).
  
  What could be improved: Would have been nice to have a dishwasher.

  Lovely and cozy villa, nice swimming pool, big space, beautiful interior. I was speaking with Eleni and she was very helpful and answering fast. We stayed for 5 days and was a lovely stay, we enjoyed it.

  A brand-new property everything is new and clean. All the facilities you require are available right from the kitchen utensils to every detail you can think of. It is very quiet as ample parking. In a very safe area cost effective Private.
  
  What could be improved: I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything, but keep in mind you will need a rental car to drive you around the island and go to places as this is not walkable to any place

  The Villa was absolutely perfect for our family. It was well equipped with plenty of space for us all. The small pool and garden were a real treat at the end of a hot day on the beach or exploring the island.

  Great stay! My friends and I spent 5 days at this villa and it was spacious, modern, and very clean. The lounge and kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The host and cleaners were lovely and really helpful, making our stay even better. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable spot. The views from the villas was also gorgeous!Would recommend for anyone visiting. Thanks so much again!
  
  What could be improved: Location we struggled slightly with taxis but as soon as we found reliable taxis it made it a lot easier!

  House was clean and comfortable. The view was good. Pool was not big of course but getting a dip in the middle of the night at your own home was fun 🙂
  Our host Eleni explained everything in detail with photos before we arrived. She also gave us so many detailed recommendations about the nearby restaurants, beaches etc. She was kind enough to let us check out late. I would definitely stay there again.
