You know what struck me first about Moscha Hotel? It’s how they’ve managed to find this sweet spot right on Apollonos street where you’re close enough to hear the buzz of Faliraki but far enough that you’re not dodging drunk Brits at 3 AM. I mean, let’s be honest – Faliraki has a reputation, but this place sits in one of the more civilized pockets of the strip.

The hotel itself feels like what a 4-star should actually be – not trying too hard to be fancy, but getting the important stuff right. The lobby has this clean, modern Greek vibe without all the fake marble nonsense you see everywhere. What I really appreciated was the air conditioning that actually works (you’d be surprised how many places skimp on this) and rooms that feel properly sized, not like airplane cabins. The balconies are decent too – mine overlooked the street, which was perfect for people-watching with my morning coffee. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching the neighborhood wake up while you’re still in your pajamas.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t tell you – you’re literally a five-minute walk to Anthony Quinn Bay if you know the little path that cuts behind the main road. The hotel staff actually told me about it, which was refreshing since most places just hand you a generic map. The beach down there is way better than the main Faliraki strip, less crowded and the water’s this incredible turquoise that looks almost fake in photos. Plus, if you do want the full Faliraki experience – the bars, the chaos, the questionable karaoke – it’s all right there when you want it. The hotel’s position means you can stumble back without needing a taxi, but you can also escape to quieter spots like Ladiko beach (about 15 minutes on foot along the coast) when the party scene gets old. Honestly, for a 4-star in this part of Rhodes, Moscha nails that balance between accessibility and sanity that’s harder to find than you’d think.

  Great modern room, lovely hosts, right next to the beach but the pool and loungers were lovely and never completely full. Alexander the bar tender was lovely and recommended some great places
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really, paid for premium room with balcony but got a terrace instead. Not a big deal.

  The hotel is lovely, with spacious, well-fitted rooms. The location is at the quiet end of the bay, which is wonderful, but there are plenty of good restaurants just a short walk away.
  
  What could be improved: The wifi was very poor, so if you need to work then this hotel is not a good choice.

  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the man at the reception who welcomed us on the day of our arrival – he went above and beyond to help us recover a lost backpack, and we are very grateful for his support.
  
  The room was very cozy, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the variety of lighting options, which made the room feel even more pleasant. The air conditioning worked fine, and there was a fridge and a hairdryer available, which was a nice bonus.
  
  The cleaning ladies were always smiling and kept the room very clean.
  
  The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the center of Faliraki, but you can also rent an electric scooter to get there easily. Thanks to the distance, the area is very quiet and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing holiday.
  
  There was also no problem extending our stay for a few extra hours, as our flight was in the evening at 9 PM, which we really appreciated.
  
  We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back someday!
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast would be more varied but the cakes were amazing!

  Beautiful, very well-maintained hotel that looks like it's been recently upgraded. Just a hundred or so metres from the beach. Lovely upscale atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, family-run so they care. They were especially kind when, on the night before we were to leave, we got some kind of gastric bug and were too sick to leave. They arranged for us to stay in the room a couple of extra nights and at a reduced rate, which was especially kind. Lovely pool area, good breakfast – just would have liked a bit more variety from day to day with the eggs. Highly recommend this hotel.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi very patchy which was problematic at times. More variety in breakasts would be nice. Would have loved a jacuzzi but that would have just been a bonus!

  Everything was really good, room cleaning every day, perfect location, best recommendations. It says that there is 2 stars hotel, but could there is reach all of the 4 stars. Owners are really nice and Alexander best guy at the whole hotel. He does best cocktails at Faliraki.
  If you need to rent a car or motorcycle, they will help you to rent it and you will get the better prices.

  We had a delightful stay at Moscha Hotel, a charming family-run establishment where the warmth and helpfulness of the staff truly stood out. They accommodated our extra requests with a smile, making us feel right at home. Just a minute's walk from the beach, our room offered a lovely partial sea view that was a joy to wake up to. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic, and the hotel's pool and sun loungers provided the perfect retreat for relaxation when we weren't exploring the beautiful surroundings or enjoying the seaside.
  
  What could be improved: That the holiday was over and we had to come home 🙂
