So I stumbled across Modern Luxury Villa while exploring the quieter side of Rhodes, and honestly? It’s one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. The place sits in Vlicha – which, if you don’t know the area, is this perfect sweet spot between the tourist chaos of Lindos and the complete middle-of-nowhere. You’re actually close enough to walk down to Vlicha Beach (maybe 10 minutes if you don’t mind the slight downhill trek), but far enough up that you’re not hearing beach bars until 2 AM.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to feel genuinely luxurious without that sterile hotel vibe you get at some of the bigger resorts. The villa has this modern Mediterranean thing going on – you know, clean lines but with actual character. The rooms are spacious in a way that actually matters, not just marketing spacious, and the bathrooms… well, let’s just say I spent longer in the shower than I probably should have. The whole property feels like someone’s very wealthy, very tasteful friend just handed you the keys to their place. There’s this outdoor area where you can sit with your morning coffee and look out toward the coast, and it’s the kind of view that makes you understand why people move to Greek islands and never leave.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – you’ll want a car if you’re staying here. I mean, you could probably manage without one, but Rhodes has so much to explore beyond just the immediate area. The drive into Rhodes Town takes maybe 20 minutes (traffic depending), and having your own wheels means you can hit places like Anthony Quinn Bay or that little taverna in Pefkos that everyone raves about but never remembers the name of. Parking at the villa itself is no problem, which honestly is a relief if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near Lindos village in summer. The staff were genuinely helpful with local recommendations too – not just the obvious touristy stuff, but actual insider tips about when to visit the Acropolis to avoid crowds and which beaches have the calmest water for swimming. With a 9.5 rating, you’d expect things to run smoothly, and they do, but it’s more than that – it feels like they actually care about whether you have a good time, not just whether you check out without complaining.

  Very spacious and nice to have the whole place to ourselves. The outdoor area is the main attraction with a stunning view.
