Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to the Mitsis Faliraki – I mean, Faliraki gets a bit of a party town reputation, you know? But this place actually sits in a sweet spot where you get the energy of the resort area without feeling like you’re sleeping above a nightclub. The moment you walk into that lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone put real thought into the details here.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance that five-star polish with something that feels genuinely Greek. The staff – and I’m talking about everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping team – they actually seem to enjoy working there, which makes such a difference. You’ll notice it in little things, like how they remember your coffee preference after day two, or the way they’ll casually mention that the local bakery down the street (it’s called Manolis, if you’re wondering) makes incredible tiropita in the mornings. Speaking of location, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Faliraki Beach, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – if you head left instead of right when you hit the sand, you’ll find this quieter stretch that’s perfect for actually relaxing with a book.
The rooms themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully updated” – they’ve kept some traditional Greek elements but added all the modern touches that actually matter. The air conditioning works properly (trust me, this matters in July), the shower pressure is excellent, and the balconies… well, most of them have at least partial sea views, though the ones facing the pool area are honestly just as nice and tend to be quieter at night. I stayed during shoulder season in late May, and the whole place had this relaxed vibe – busy enough to feel lively but not so packed that you’re fighting for a pool chair. The restaurant situation is solid too; their breakfast spread is genuinely impressive, and while dinner can get a bit formulaic if you’re staying for a week, the quality is consistently good. Plus, if you want to venture out, you’re walking distance from some excellent family-run tavernas – I’d particularly recommend Kostas Taverna, about ten minutes up the hill, where the locals actually eat. The only minor downside? Parking can be a bit tight during peak season, and if you’re in one of the rooms facing the main road, you might catch some traffic noise during the day. But honestly, for an 8.8 rating, this place delivers exactly what it promises – a proper Greek island experience with all the comfort you’d want from a quality hotel.

Great value for money
Friendly staff who always wanted to help
Cocktails were quality
What could be improved: The food although it was nice, the food always seemed to be lukewarm in the buffetLynne from United Kingdom – 12 May 2025 (9/10)
Very clean sun beds and towels were great. The food was fab and the different restaurants were all amazing.
What could be improved: Just the fact the luxury beds at beach were €150 a day that was very expensive so we didn’t use them.Christian from Austria – 5 May 2025 (9/10)
The hotel staff, and especially the hotel manager, were super helpful, attentive and made sure we felt comfortable and looked after.
The pool and beach area is well designed and just fun to hang out at.
The coaches at the outdoor gym were fun and it's a good place to train and keep a balance after you feasted at the very tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet. There are loads of scheduled fitness classes and activities (Yoga, Pilates, Strength, Beach Volleyball, etc, etc).
We also liked the concept of having different restaurants on site (Italian, Greek, Asian, Burger/Pita, Tex-Mex,..) that you could book to change it up a bit.
All in all, we were very happy and would happily come back again.Nags from United Kingdom – 7 November 2024 (9/10)
Everything about the stay was outstanding
What could be improved: Nothing at allMila from United Kingdom – 25 September 2024 (9/10)
Great hotel, immaculately clean, staff super friendly. Had a lovely welcome from receptionist Anna upon our arrival and the rest of the team were so helpful! We were celebrating our anniversary so were treated to a nice cake and bottle of bubbly, made our day special. Food was outstanding, sea warm and overall fantastic experience!
What could be improved: The only drawback was cold pools. Somehow I imagined that pools would be heated but unfortunately not. Obviously we swam in the sea but would’ve used pools as well if they were warmerסולימני from Israel – 21 September 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: All was perfect!Nejra from Australia – 4 September 2024 (9/10)
Exceptionally clean property. Great staff and very accomodating. I have travelled to a lot of all inclusive hotels but I have to say this one probably has the best quality alcohol and properly made cocktails.
Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and great to swim in with small kids.
Sun loungers on both the pool and beach areas are so comfy.
Food is good and the a la carte restaurants are a must.
What could be improved: The bathroom could be a bit more modern.Pinhas from Israel – 4 September 2024 (9/10)
Everything
Staff super attentive and helpful especially with gluten free food.
Bars and drinks of high quality.
Pools very good
Beach clean
Very close to town and near bus stop.
Very highly recommended.
What could be improved: NothingAnil from United Kingdom – 28 August 2024 (9/10)
Friendly and helpful staff. Not overcrowded, easy access to every facility. Hotel is very clean. A la carte restaurants are quite good.
What could be improved: Not much variety of snacks around the pool area. Only crepe and few selection of deserts during the day. You have to wait to be served for the hot drinks in the main restaurant. Sometimes it takes too long to get a cup of tea. Hot water served for hot drinks was barely warm time to time.
Limited animations and shows for the kids.
Bathroom requires a few improvements.
No snacks in the room despite a good selection of drinks in the minibar.Alex from United States – 20 August 2024 (9/10)
The food was mediocre.. The breakfast had a variety of options.. Very decent.. However, the dinner spread was nothing to excited about.. The meats This/ proteins were not such great quality..
What could be improved: I think they could have offered a better quality of main meat dish every night.. They also have to do a better job with the snacks in the after hours cafeteria..
