You know what caught me off guard about Mike’s place? It’s actually on this quiet residential street – Agias Paraskevis – where you hear roosters in the morning instead of traffic, but then you walk literally three minutes and you’re at Kremasti Beach with your toes in the sand. I mean, most places claiming to be “near the beach” require a hike or a taxi ride, but Mike’s is genuinely walkable.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s house than a hotel, which honestly works in its favor. Mike himself is usually around during check-in – he’s got this easy-going way about him and actually knows the island, not just the tourist stuff. He’ll tell you which tavernas the locals hit up (there’s this family place about five minutes away where they don’t even have a proper menu, just whatever’s good that day) and where to catch the bus into Rhodes Town without getting gouged by taxi drivers. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works and the AC is solid, which you’ll appreciate during those August afternoons when the sun gets serious. The balconies are decent sized too, and if you’re on the right side, you get glimpses of the sea through the trees.

What I really liked is how quiet it gets at night. Kremasti isn’t one of those party zones where you’re dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around until 3 AM – it’s more of a proper Greek neighborhood where people actually live. You’ll hear the occasional motorbike or someone’s TV, but it’s the kind of background noise that feels lived-in rather than annoying. During the day, there’s enough happening to feel connected to real life on the island, but you’re not fighting crowds to get anywhere. The beach itself is honestly underrated – it’s got that mix of sand and small pebbles, the water’s clean, and there are a couple of beach bars if you want a cold Mythos without trekking back to town. Plus, parking is actually manageable here, which anyone who’s driven around Rhodes in summer will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The whole experience just feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find – you’re staying somewhere that exists for reasons beyond tourism, but you still get that seaside Greek island vibe without the circus that comes with some of the more famous spots.

  The house is very clean,comfortable and cozy in a good location.Its 3 min close from the airport and 15 min from the center of Rhodes.From the center of Kremasti which has supermarkets,bank,bars and restaurants is 5 min.Also 10 min walk to the beach.We really enjoyed the beautiful sunset there.The facilities of the house are ideal for a couple and for a family.I totally recommend it to everyone.We hope to go back again👌

  It was the first time we visited Rhodes and the choice we made rewarded us. The house is very spacious, clean and has everything you need whether you are with friends or children ! The location serves whichever need you have because it is very close to the airport, beach, shops and restaurants. The drive to the city of Rhodes and the other beaches is also easy and direct. We highly recommend it.

  Very nice, comfortable and clean house in a very good location.
  It is 5 minutes from the airport and only 10 minutes walk from the beach. So as shops and restaurants.
  If you wish to visit the city of Rhodes you need only 15 minutes by car.
  
  The facilities of the house cover all needs and is ideal for a family.
  
  We would prefer it again if we visit Rhodes.
