You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Mika’s place in Melissa – honestly, the name “luxury house” had me a bit skeptical because, well, everyone calls their place luxury these days. But this little gem actually lives up to the hype, and that 9.8 rating isn’t just people being nice.

First thing that hits you is how perfectly positioned this place is. You’re technically in Kalithies, but it’s this quiet residential area called Melissa that most tourists never discover – which is exactly why it works so beautifully. It’s maybe a ten-minute drive to Faliraki’s main strip (and trust me, after spending a day dealing with those crowds, you’ll appreciate coming back to somewhere this peaceful). The neighborhood feels properly Greek, you know? Like you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the evening and old guys playing backgammon at the corner café, not just endless souvenir shops and British pubs.

What really got me about Mika’s is the attention to detail – and I mean the stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere. The WiFi works everywhere, even by the pool, which honestly saved my trip since I had to jump on a few work calls. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), and there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower. Small things, but they add up. The kitchen area is well-stocked too, which comes in handy because there’s a brilliant little market just down the street where you can grab fresh tomatoes and that amazing Greek yogurt. Plus, parking is never an issue here – try finding a decent spot in central Faliraki and you’ll understand why this matters.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice house than a typical hotel, which I guess is exactly what Mika was going for. There’s this lovely terrace area where you can have your morning coffee while it’s still cool, and the evenings are perfect for a glass of wine before heading out. During the day, when Faliraki gets absolutely mental with the beach crowds, you can come back here and it’s like stepping into a different world – quiet, comfortable, with just the sound of cicadas and maybe someone’s TV drifting over from next door. I actually ended up spending more time here than I’d planned, just because it felt so relaxing after the intensity of the tourist areas. If you’re looking for somewhere that gives you easy access to all the Faliraki action but lets you escape to something more authentic and peaceful, this is pretty much perfect.

  The facilities of the house were very good and it was very near the center. The owner was so kind, she informed us all the touristic places, good restaurants and even invited us traditional festival! We’ve a great time, thank you!

  Tágas apartman, kényelmes ágyakkal. Tiszta szobák, klímával.

  Очень светлые, чистые и просторные апартаменты. В доме в каждой комнате есть кондиционер и телевизор. Есть всё необходимое для самостоятельного проживания. Хозяева очень гостеприимные, дружелюбные, всегда готовы помочь, а их очаровательная дочь угощала нас сладостями и яйцами,которые несли их курицы. С удовольствием вернемся в эти апартаменты еще раз!😉

  Ev tüm ihtiyaçlarımızı karşılayabilecek kapasitede ve tertemizdi. Faliraki'ye çok yakın ama bir o kadar da sessiz ve sakin, serin bir konumda olması çok hoşumuza gitti. Birkaç ufak talebimiz ev sahibi tarafından hızlıca karşılandı. Evin bulunduğu köy meydanında ihtiyaçlarımızı karşılayabilecek fırın, market, bar ve restoran gibi çok keyifli yerler de mevcuttu. Ev için tek önerim belki mutfağa tezgah üstü ufak bulaşık makinelerinden konabilir.
  Özellikle temizlik konusunda hassasiyet yaşayan bir grup olarak evden çok memnun kaldığımızı yinelemek isterim.

  Το σπίτι ήταν εξαιρετικό , πεντακάθαρο , καινούργιο και με υψηλής αισθητικής διακόσμηση. Βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία και ήσυχη γειτονία. Είχε όλες τις ανέσεις , όπως πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα , γρήγορο WiFi και Air Condition.Οι χώροι ήταν φωτεινοί, άνετοι και απόλυτα επαρκείς για τη διαμονή έξι ατόμων. Επίσης, στον κήπο υπήρχε παιδική χαρά , ξυλόφουρνος και μπάρπεκιου. Η φιλοξενία ήταν άριστη, καθώς οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί. Με ευκολία φτάνεις στις παραλίες (Φαληράκι- Τραγανού, Άντονι Κουίν) που απέχουν μόνο 5 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο. Συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα και σε άλλους ταξιδιώτες να επιλέξουν το Mika"s B Luxury House για αξέχαστες διακοπές στη Ρόδο!
