Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Greek island accommodations, and Melita Apartment Seaside in Haraki honestly caught me off guard – in the best possible way. You know how sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in? That’s exactly what happened here. The location is actually perfect if you want to experience Rhodes without the Lindos crowds (which, trust me, you do). Haraki is this quiet fishing village that most tourists completely miss, and you’re literally steps from a beach that locals still consider theirs.

The apartment itself is what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – everything works, everything’s clean, and there’s this attention to detail that you don’t always get at four-star places. The balcony faces the sea, obviously, but what they don’t tell you is that you can hear the fishing boats heading out early morning, which I actually found pretty charming after the first day. The kitchenette is properly equipped too – I mean, you can actually cook a real meal if you want, not just heat up instant noodles. And honestly, with the little tavernas right there serving fresh fish that was probably swimming yesterday, you’ll want to eat out anyway.

Here’s what really sets this place apart though – the owners clearly know their stuff. Check-in was smooth, parking is never an issue (which, if you’ve driven around Rhodes Town, you’ll appreciate), and they’re genuinely helpful without being pushy. The whole area stays pretty quiet even in peak summer because it’s just far enough from the main tourist strips. You’re maybe twenty minutes to Lindos if you want the Instagram shots and ancient ruins, but you come back to this peaceful spot where the biggest decision is whether to swim at the main beach or walk five minutes to the smaller, rockier cove that’s usually empty. I spent most evenings just sitting on that balcony with a cold Mythos, watching the light change over the water – sounds cliché, but it really doesn’t get old. The 9.7 rating makes complete sense once you’re there; it’s not flashy or over-the-top, just really, really well done.

  This is an exceptionally good apartment for a family of four. Close to the sea, good restaurants nearby. The aparment is well equipped, you can easily make a breakfast or dinner. All-in-all it's totally worth the money, highly recommended!

  Loved everything …very spacious beautifully clean apartment. Bi folding doors gave a unobstructed view of the ocean and it felt as if it was in touching distance . Wrap around balcony which meant we could move around with the sun and fantastic view all around. Host responded quickly to query with getting bifolding doors open.
  
  What could be improved: Minor thing. No English instruction for washing machine. Host responded and asked me to send a photo so she could circle the correct setting but my photo wouldn't send. Perhaps English instructions could be provided for next time ?

  Appartamento praticamente sulla sabbia del bellissimo villaggio di haraki, che mi è rimasto nel cuore.
  E' pulitissimo e dotato di tutti i comfort, moderno e con aria condizionata.
  C'e' stato un piccolo problema elettrico risolto in pochissimo tempo da Melita, che è gentilissima e accogliente.
  Torneremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo!

  Alloggio super confortevole con vista mare…non manca nulla. Gli spazi sono ampi e ideali per trascorrere una piacevolissima vacanza in famiglia all' insegna della tranquillità! Posizione strategica vicinissima al parcheggio (free), ai locali e ad un paio di minimarket. Accoglienza super con bevande e frutta fresca! Check-in e checkout molto rapidi grazie al dispositivo automatico per la presa e la riconsegna delle chiavi!
