Okay, so Medieval apartment Estiva – honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Lysippou Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean, the name says “medieval apartment” and you’re thinking either authentic charm or tourist trap, right? But stepping inside, you realize they’ve actually nailed something pretty special here. The building has this genuine old-world feel without being stuffy or museum-like, and the location – well, you’re basically in the heart of Rhodes Old Town without the chaos of the main tourist drags.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to keep the medieval character while making everything work for modern travelers. The rooms have these thick stone walls that actually keep things cool during those brutal July afternoons (you know how Rhodes gets), and honestly, it’s surprisingly quiet at night considering you’re surrounded by restaurants and bars. The Lysippou street itself is one of those narrow cobblestone paths that feels authentically Greek – not the sanitized version you sometimes get in tourist areas. You’ll hear church bells from nearby Saint Spyridon in the morning, which sounds cliche but it’s actually lovely when you’re having coffee on your little balcony.

The staff here genuinely knows their stuff about Rhodes, which makes a difference when you need restaurant recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this tiny taverna about two streets over that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be tricky – I mean, it’s the Old Town, so that’s expected – but they’ll actually help you figure out the closest spots and explain the whole permit situation, which saved me a headache. The 9.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not flashy or over-the-top, but everything just works really well. The check-in was smooth, the room was exactly what the photos promised, and there’s this attention to detail that you notice in small ways throughout your stay. Plus, you’re walking distance to the Palace of the Grand Master and all the main sights, but when you want to escape the crowds, you just duck back into your peaceful little medieval hideaway.

  Unique apartment that could only be found in the medieval town of Rodos. I would absolutely stay there again. Great accomodations and warm hospitality close to Hippocrates square but far away from the noise. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for a couple of small group. Wish I could have stayed longer.

  I loved everything about this property. First of all the location was great because it was so close to everything you need in the heart of the old town such us restaurants, bars, clubs, monuments and the port. There was so much space for my group of five, the two bathrooms and showers were amazing since we were a mix of guys and girls. They provided us with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as tea bags and coffee. It was very clean and cozy. It was also quite cold without the AC on which was perfect for the hot days in Rhodes, made us not wanna leave the room. If I am visiting Rhodes again I will definitively try and book at this place again.

  The apartment is in the heart of the old town. It’s beautifully furnished. Two bedrooms are great for families with children. Kitchen and the washing machine are life saver. And the host was great.

  Everything was perfect. The accomodation was in a great location, in the hearth of the Old Town. Every room was clean and cozy. The host was really helpful. We've had a wonderful stay.

  One of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed in, definitely underrated on this app! Property finished to an excellent standard, bathroom gorgeous, kitchen practical and filled with new appliances, half exposed brick/half plastered walls, all wood flooring/stairs, lovely ornaments, lovely AC which you can control to your liking (needed in Rhodes), 2 big bedrooms (1 x double bed in each room). Needless to say the property itself was brilliant, and then additionally it was in the most perfect location right in the centre of old town, only a 1 min walk from being in the centre. George the owner is such a friendly helpful man, nothing is too much to ask. Honestly cannot fault the stay.

  What a hidden gem perfect 2 bedroom apartment in the middle of old town Rhodes. Well appointed with 2 bedrooms, small kitchen & best of all a pod coffee machine & dishwasher complete with ample pods & laundry detergent. The embroidered soft towels & bathrobes were a great touch too.

  Beautiful renovated yet medieval apartment steps from main square of old town and close to Port . Spacious with amenities. Liked the treats in the room.
  
  What could be improved: One room is a loft and there is some noise from the street. No windows/views, but probably typical for the area? Washing machine was very noisy when spinning. A little hard to message host on booking not sure what issue was…
