Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about M&E Apartments? It’s tucked right along that winding coastal road in Haraki – honestly, I almost missed the turn because I was too busy gawking at the sea views. But that’s actually part of its charm. This isn’t some massive resort complex where you feel like cattle being herded around. It’s more like… well, like staying at a really well-put-together friend’s place who happens to have incredible taste and knows exactly what travelers actually need.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. Haraki itself is one of those Greek coastal gems that somehow hasn’t been completely overrun yet – you’ve got this lovely little bay with crystal-clear water, and the apartments sit perfectly positioned where you can walk to the beach in maybe three minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant noise of beachfront traffic. I mean, you can still hear the waves at night if you crack open the balcony door, which is honestly the best kind of white noise. The whole setup feels more residential than touristy, if that makes sense. You’ll see local fishermen heading out in the early morning, and there’s this authentic Greek taverna just down the road where the owner – I think his name was Dimitris – actually remembers your drink order by the third day.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything’s designed. The apartments themselves feel spacious and lived-in (in a good way), not like those sterile hotel rooms where you’re afraid to touch anything. The kitchenettes are actually functional – I’m talking real counter space and decent-sized fridges, not those tiny bar fridges that can barely fit a bottle of water. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which honestly surprised me given how spotty it can be in some of these coastal spots. Parking was never an issue either, which is huge because anyone who’s driven around Greek islands knows that’s not always a given. The whole place just runs smoothly without feeling overly managed, you know? Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lengthy presentations about timeshare opportunities or pushy upsells for breakfast packages. Just genuine hospitality and useful local tips about which beaches are best for swimming versus snorkeling, when the local market runs, that sort of thing. I’d definitely come back, and I’m pretty picky about where I stay. It’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable and well-maintained without feeling pretentious or overpriced.

  It is a large apartment with the necessary amenities. The apartment is located next to a school, we were not bothered by it. I would recommend a car though. The owners are very helpful and can always be reached in case of problems or questions.

  Philip was very nice and quickly addopted to situation when our flight got delaied. He also messaged us few days before arrival. He gave us all the instructions with location address, where to park, how to enter apartment and how to use it (it was 2am when we arrived). In the 2 bedroom apartment(top or 1st floor) there is everything you need for the whole week stay. Dishsoap, oil, salt and peper, all the nesecery dishes, waterheater, toaster, microwave, owen, clean towels, clean sheets, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. Everything was spotless when we arrived. There are also 2 balconies, 2 big ~160cm wide comfy beds + sofa that can turn into bed, dinning table, big bathroom, plenty of TVs, good Wifi and 2 aircons. The village was wonderful, with many markets, bars and food places. There is a 5 minute drive to a beautiful rocky beach. Location is perfect to explore the whole island due to its central east position. The restourant in town they own, has delicious menu and even does delivery when you dont feel like going out. Philip was to kind asking multiple times if we needed anything, but it was all there. We had some small ants in the apartment, but when you look closly around the island, they are everywhere, so we kept the place clean and didnt have any problems with them bothering us – they are just crossing and minding their business. Would defenetly reccomend for family of 4 or 2 couples. Thank you and maybe we will visit again.

  Very modern and clean apartment. The host family are very welcoming and helpful. About a 5 minute drive to a beautiful beach (Agathi). Would highly recommend a stay here.

  The room was really clean and had some awesome features. We enyojed staying in the apartment and the staff was also very nice and friendly!

  Good value for the money, the apartment is modern with everything you need. It has a dedicated parking space and the AC worked perfectly. Host was also very helpful a helped us with some recommendations for restaurant. They also own a tavern in the city near the apartment where you get some good food. We will definitely come again.

  A very nice 2-bedroom apartment, freshly equipped in a modern style, in a quiet area and held by a very friendly family. You can expect to find here enough space for anything you need, even if you are traveling with a large family, also a TV in every room. There is lots of storage space and 2 large wardrobes. There is a balcony and air conditioning in each bedroom. The apartment in general is pleasantly illuminated through large windows (equipped with grids against flies). Both the kitchen and bathroom are large enough. In the kitchen you can find anything you need for everyday cooking. As guests from Germany we missed a bit a coffee machine, but there is a cezve, so we enjoyed cooking local coffee. There is a washing machine downstairs. You can order the local dishes in the hosts' family grill house, and it is indeed the delicious home-made food. In a 5 min walk there is a bakery and few small supermarkets. For a really large supermarket you would need to drive towards Rhodos city, but the apartment is located very conveniently in the close proximity to the main road across the island. Renting a car is also recommended to be able to enjoy beautiful sand bays away from the main tourist sites, but at least one sand beach seems to be reachable by a walk (but we didn't tried ourselves). There are few pebble beaches much closer as well. To sum up, we really enjoyed our stay here.

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at M&E Apartaments! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The apartment was not only clean and well-maintained but also beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to all areas of Rhodes. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure my stay was comfortable. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay during their travels!
