Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places around Rhodes, but M&B Luxury Suites in Charaki honestly caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you’re driving down that coastal road from Malona, you sort of expect another generic Mediterranean hotel, but this place actually delivers on the “luxury” part without being pretentious about it. The location is just… well, it’s perfect if you want to be close enough to everything but far enough from the Lindos crowds that can get pretty overwhelming in summer. Charaki itself is this tiny fishing village that most tourists zip past on their way to bigger attractions, which is honestly their loss because you get this authentic Greek coastal vibe without fighting for space on the beach.

What really got me was the attention to detail – I’m talking about things like the way they’ve designed the suites so you can actually hear the waves from your bed (not the traffic, which is rare around here), and how the staff remembers your coffee preference after day two. The suites themselves are spacious in a way that feels natural, not like they’re trying to impress you with unnecessary square footage. You know what I loved? The kitchenettes are actually functional – not those tiny hotel afterthoughts where you can barely make toast. I ended up cooking with local ingredients from the small market in the village, and it became this whole experience I wasn’t expecting. The terraces face the water, obviously, but they’re positioned so you get both sunrise and that golden hour light that makes everything look like a postcard.

Here’s the thing about Charaki that the guidebooks don’t really capture – it’s got this rhythm where the fishing boats come in around 7 AM, the village wakes up slowly, and by evening you’ve got locals gathering at the tavernas right along the waterfront. M&B sits just above this scene, close enough that you feel part of it but with enough elevation that you’re not dealing with the early morning boat engines if you want to sleep in. The hotel’s perfectly positioned for day trips too – Lindos is maybe 15 minutes down the coast, but you can also explore some of the inland villages that tourists never see. Parking’s never an issue, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will appreciate. I stayed in late September when the summer crowds had thinned but the weather was still perfect, and honestly, I think that might be the sweet spot for this place. The whole experience felt more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a hotel – if that friend happened to have impeccable taste and a prime spot overlooking one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on Rhodes.

  The hotel is exceptionally clean. The environment is very comfortable and quiet. As it is the start of the season (May), we were the only one at the place and we love it. Was very skeptical at the beginning as the hotel has not many reviews, but we are really glad that we have made the choice. Agathi beach (sandy) and Haraki (pebble) beach are just 5 & 7 minutes drive away. However, these beaches are slightly quiet, more for people whom like the quiet side of holiday. We also keep travelling to Stegna for food too, this place is about 15min drive to Stegna with lots of nice seafood restaurants. Of course Haraki beach front has some restaurants (e.g Argo) too. The owner of the property is also very responsive, so any issues I believe they can resolve it quick.
  
  What could be improved: nothing really. Pool was slightly cold as it was the start of the season, but it is warmer than the sea water for sure for May.

  I highly recommend staying here. It was really perfect. The property was stunning and the hosts were so nice. The terrace next to the pool was ideal to enjoy the sun. The property was also ideally located. We wanted to be close to Lindos but did not know that Charaki was so pleasant so that was a really good surprise. It is also very close to Agathi beach. The restaurants nearby were great as well (our favorite one: Amethystos in Archangelos – take the Greek salad, simple but delicious).

  Unser Aufenthalt an diesem wundervollen Ort war eine echte Entdeckung und bescherte uns viele positive Eindrücke. Schon in den ersten Minuten spürten wir außergewöhnliche Herzlichkeit, Aufrichtigkeit und Fürsorge von den Gastgebern. Sie empfingen uns wie lang ersehnte Gäste und taten alles, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Es war spürbar, dass ihre Freundlichkeit von Herzen kam und nicht bloß aus Höflichkeit.
  
  Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, gemütlich und äußerst komfortabel. Alles – von der Bettwäsche bis zur Küchenausstattung – war mit Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail ausgewählt. Man merkt sofort, dass die Gastgeber ihr Herz in dieses Zuhause stecken und jeden Aspekt perfekt gestalten möchten. Die Lage war ideal, die Umgebung ruhig, die Atmosphäre angenehm, das Interieur stilvoll, das Licht stimmungsvoll, die Möbel bequem, und alle Annehmlichkeiten waren vorhanden.
  
  Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Liebe zum Detail – selbst die kleinsten Dinge waren durchdacht. Wir fühlten uns vollkommen wohl und entspannt. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und gaben wertvolle Tipps zur Umgebung.
  
  Es war ein perfektes Erlebnis, wie wir es schon lange nicht mehr hatten. Wir waren tief beeindruckt von der Gastfreundschaft, der Freundlichkeit und der professionellen Einstellung der Gastgeber. Ohne Zweifel empfehlen wir diesen Ort jedem, der Komfort, Sauberkeit, Herzlichkeit und echte Aufmerksamkeit zu schätzen weiß.
