Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to M&B Luxury House – I mean, it’s tucked away on that winding road between Ialyssos and Katavia, and you know how some of these “luxury” places can be all hype. But the moment I walked through those doors, I actually stopped in my tracks. The whole place has this understated elegance that feels genuinely Greek rather than trying too hard to impress tourists.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between upscale and comfortable. The rooms – and I’m talking about the standard ones here, not some upgraded suite – actually feel like spaces you’d want to hang out in. The beds are properly firm (thank god, because you know how hit-or-miss Greek hotel beds can be), and there’s this attention to detail that surprised me. Like, they’ve got these little reading nooks with actual good lighting, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a stay for me. The staff seems to genuinely care too – not in that overly rehearsed way, but more like they’re proud of the place and want you to love it as much as they do.

Here’s what I really appreciated though: the location is sort of perfect if you actually want to experience Rhodes beyond the crowded old town scene. You’re in Theologos, which means you’re close enough to zip into Rhodes town when you want that energy, but far enough out that you can hear the cicadas at night instead of moped engines. There’s this family-run taverna about a ten-minute walk down the road – I won’t spoil it by naming it, but ask the front desk and they’ll point you in the right direction. The parking situation is actually stress-free too, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is basically a miracle. And honestly, with a 9.8 rating, I was skeptical at first because those numbers can be misleading, but after staying there? I get it. It’s one of those places that just works – everything from the Wi-Fi (surprisingly strong) to the housekeeping (they somehow make hospital corners look effortless) feels thoughtfully done rather than rushed. You’ll pay a bit more than some of the budget options scattered around the island, but it’s worth it for that feeling of actually being taken care of rather than just processed through.

  The location was amazing. Felt very safe all the time. 2 minutes walk from the beach. Very big pool. Maria was incredibly nice and took very good care of us.

  Everything ,we really like all about our stay.Pool area is perfect and outside you can play basketball, soccer etc. it's a very nice setup for chilling . 2 min.walk to the beach, 5 min to the shops,cafe, and restaurants, but villa area is quiet and very private.In the house, you will find everything that you possibly need. The kitchen is equipped with all for cooking, and the beds are very comfy,iron,hairdryer ,all that you possibly need is provedet.And if you need anything else Maria and her husband will help you with all.She brings to as a nicest desert and gifts.I highly recommend this property for vacation !!!!! We defo will be back! Thank you, Maria!!!

  This is a very convenient and beautiful place. Private swimming pool, the beach is 5 minutes walk and if you want to travel to the other side of the island it’s less than half an hour drive. Maria made our stay like home. She’s very welcoming and cheerful. Her place have everything you’ll need in your holiday..highly recommended

  Truly a hidden gem on the island. The house has everything you need and more, the location is ideal, the garden with the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful and best of all it has the nicest owners who will treat you like family. We can't wait to come back:)

  Einfach perfekt
  
  Das Miethaus war ehrlich gesagt ein absoluter Volltreffer. Die Lage ist top – ruhig, abgeschieden, man stört niemanden, auch wenn man mal etwas lauter ist. Gleichzeitig ist alles in der Nähe: Supermärkte, Buffets, Essensmöglichkeiten – also perfekt kombiniert.
  
  Was aber wirklich außergewöhnlich ist: die Vermieter. Legendär! Unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und mit Liebe zum Detail. Es war wirklich an alles gedacht – von Zahnbürsten, Shampoo, Handtüchern bis hin zu Snacks, Getränke und sogar Brot, Käse, Joghurt etc. welches schon vorbereitet war. Das ist alles andere als selbstverständlich!
  
  Zusätzlich haben sie uns bei der Autovermietung geholfen und später auch noch den Taxitransfer zum Flughafen organisiert. Ohne diese Unterstützung hätten wir deutlich mehr Stress gehabt – echt top Service!
  
  Der Garten ist groß und komplett privat – ideal zum Entspannen. Es gibt:
  • eine gemütliche Veranda zum Sitzen
  • eine zweite, separate Grillecke mit Tisch & Stühlen
  • einen sauberen Pool mit allen Reinigungsutensilien
  • unzählige Handtücher für jeden Zweck
  • super funktionierende Klimaanlage
  • einen Basketballkorb & verschiedene Bälle
  • eigenen Parkplatz direkt am Haus
  
  Ich hab mich vorher gefragt, wie dieses Haus so viele positive Bewertungen haben kann – nach dem Aufenthalt hab ich’s verstanden. Es gibt verdammt nochmal nichts zu meckern. Ich würde sofort wiederkommen und kann es jedem empfehlen, der Wert auf Ruhe, Komfort, Gastfreundschaft und Rundum-Sorglos-Service legt.

  Très bon accueil. De belles attentions pour notre arrivée. De nombreux équipements sont fournis avec la maison (machine à laver, sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, etc). Jardin très agréable avec sa piscine. Le petit plus : la proximité avec la mer. Maria est une excellente hôtesse 🙂
