You know what struck me first about Maya’s House? It’s actually tucked away in Kremasti in this spot where you get the best of both worlds – close enough to Rhodes town that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere, but far enough that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds every single day. I mean, Kremasti itself is one of those places that feels authentically Greek without trying too hard, if that makes sense.

The thing about this place is that it genuinely feels like staying at someone’s well-appointed home rather than a cookie-cutter hotel. Maya (or whoever’s running things) has this knack for the little details that actually matter – like the fact that the WiFi works everywhere, not just in the lobby, and there’s always enough hot water even when the place is full. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality without being worn down, and honestly, the beds are better than what you’ll find at most chain hotels. What really got me was the breakfast setup – it’s not some massive buffet situation, but everything’s fresh and local, and they actually ask what you want instead of just pointing you toward steam trays.

The location is pretty perfect for exploring Rhodes without the tourist trap pricing. You’re maybe a 10-minute drive from the airport (handy, but not so close you hear planes), and the beach at Kremasti is actually where locals go – it’s got that long stretch of sand and the water’s usually calmer than the more famous spots. Plus, there’s decent parking, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is not something to take for granted. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping out with directions and recommendations, and they’ll steer you toward the family-run tavernas that don’t show up in guidebooks. I picked up some of my best Rhodes memories from following their suggestions, actually. The whole vibe is relaxed without being sleepy – you can have a quiet evening when you want one, but you’re not isolated if you’re looking for some nightlife. That 9.8 rating? Yeah, I get it.

  Six months ago we got to know the villa thanks to Booking and after a week of fun we went back there again. We had no doubt that it was the only place we would return to, no matter what the price would be (which was an attractive and comfortable auto price). The villa is charming and divided according to the type of family like ours (a couple of parents and two small children). There is peace and privacy, adjacent parking and everything a family needs for a perfect vacation – the town has everything Cafes, taverns, gas stations, supermarkets and what not. We will definitely come back here again next time

  מטבח וסלון מאובזרים
  מארחים חמודים שהיה חשוב להם שנרגיש בבית גם עם עוגה ביתית שהכינו ומצד שני נותנים פרטיות ולא מורגש שבעל הבית עוקב אחריך.

  Me sentir chez moi, dans un logement spacieux (et climatisé), moderne et très propre (et en prime une terrasse). Tout est neuf, de la machine a laver aux ustensiles de cuisine.
  La BIENVEILLANCE générale du propriétaire nous a beaucoup touché (délicieuses gaufres pour le petit-déjeuner, fruits frais, jouets pour occuper ma petite nièce…)
  La situation géographique extraordinaire : à l’écart de la ville, dans un calme appréciable et situé a quelques kilomètres de l’aéroport.
  Rapport qualité/prix excellent.

  Gute und nette Kommunikation, problemloser Checkin. Netter Empfang inkl. Wein, Früchte und Süßigkeit. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht. Wir haben sehr gut und ruhig schlafen können.
