Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to Maya pool & mountain view villa on that winding road from Koskinou – you know how these rural Greek addresses can be a bit mysterious on GPS. But wow, this place actually delivers on both parts of its name in a way that sort of took me by surprise. The pool area is genuinely gorgeous (not just Instagram-gorgeous, but the kind where you actually want to spend your afternoon), and those mountain views? They’re the real deal, especially in the early morning when the light hits just right and you can see all the way across the inland hills.

What struck me most was how quiet it gets here – I mean, you’re still close enough to the action in Rhodes that you can easily drive to Faliraki or the old town when you want to, but there’s this peaceful bubble around the property that’s hard to find at a lot of places. The whole Koskinou area has this authentic feel that hasn’t been completely touristified yet, which honestly makes such a difference. You’ll hear roosters in the morning (fair warning if you’re a heavy sleeper), but there’s something charming about it rather than annoying. The villa itself feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel – the kind of friend who has excellent taste and actually knows how to make guests comfortable without being fussy about it.

The staff here really know their stuff, and I don’t just mean the standard hospitality training. They’ll tell you which tavernas in the village are worth walking to (there are a couple gems within easy distance), or how to time your trips to avoid the cruise ship crowds in Rhodes town. Parking’s never an issue, which might seem like a small thing until you’ve spent twenty minutes circling around some other places on the island. The whole experience feels effortless in that way that only happens when someone’s actually thought through all the details. It’s got that perfect 4-star sweet spot – comfortable and well-run without being stuffy or overly formal. If you’re looking for that mix of relaxation and easy access to explore the island, this is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across but rarely do.

  The property was stunning! Amazing views and very private. Close (10-15 min drive) to the beach and to the towns for shopping and dining. Close to the airport. The host was amazing! Host was responsive and helped us figure out small things like getting hot water in the shower etc. Very luxurious property and great value for the money.
  
  What could be improved: The rooster in the backyard crowed all through the night which made it a bit difficult to sleep! I’d say bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

  Very nice and cozy villa. All details have been thought out for comfort. The owner of the villa is very helpful.
  The location is quite convenient: taverns and the village are approximately 2 km away, beaches are approximately 6 km away.

  The villa is even better than the pictures, super clean and provided with everything that anyone would need! The outdoors and the house are cared for to the smallest details. We really wish we could stay more in Rhodes just to enjoy the house a little more! The host was kind and available at all times. We really had a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely pick this villa again if we come back to Rhodes!

  Το αφρικανικό στυλ του καταλύματος προσδίδει μια εκλεπτυσμένη ατμόσφαιρα, ενώ η μεγάλη πισίνα με καταρράκτη και υδρομασάζ προσφέρει απαράμιλλη χαλάρωση και διασκέδαση. Η προσθήκη ανεμιστήρων οροφής στα υπνοδωμάτια είναι μια ευπρόσδεκτη πινελιά που προσφέρει άνεση και φρεσκάδα στους επισκέπτες. Επιπλέον, ο φωτισμός το βράδυ δημιουργεί μια μαγική ατμόσφαιρα που εκανε το πάρτυ γενεθλίων ακόμα πιο αξέχαστο. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ την ομάδα για όλα!

  Ολα ήταν φανταστικά! Η ομάδα μας βοήθησε με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Το μπάρμπεκιου είναι τοπ και η εξωτερική ντουζιέρα δίνει κάτι το εξωπραγματικό μαζί με την υπέροχη θέα.Η πισίνα προσφέρει μια αύρα που δεν μπορώ να περιγράψω. Αυτό που μου άρεσε περισσότερο είναι οι ξύλινοι ανεμιστήρες που δίνουν ένα φυσικό αεράκι και είναι ότι πρέπει για τις καυτές μέρες του καλοκαιριού. Περάσαμε υπέροχες στιγμές στο Maya και θα ξαναέρθουμε σίγουρα. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ M Y L U X E!

  Ήταν μια εξαιρετική εμπειρία! Ο ρομαντικός στολισμός, οι εκπλήξεις κατά την άφιξή μας και η θέα στο βουνό και στη θάλασσα προσθέτουν μια ιδιαίτερη μαγεία. Το καλόγουστο αφρικανικό στυλ και οι ανεμιστήρες στα δωμάτια δείχνουν προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια και την άνεση των επισκεπτών. Επίσης,
  ανακαλύψαμε πως υπαρχει μια μικρή φάρμα στο κατάλυμα, με κότες, πάπιες κλπ, όπου έδινε την ηρεμία, την αγάπη να νοιαστούμε και να ταΐσουμε τα ζώα. Σίγουρα μια επιλογή που αξίζει να ξαναεπισκεφθείτε!
