I mean, Koskinou itself is one of those traditional villages that most tourists zip past on their way to Rhodes Town, but honestly – that’s exactly why this place works so well.

The villa sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the village life (kids playing in the narrow streets, the occasional motorbike puttering by) but far enough removed that you’re not dealing with any real noise. The owners clearly put thought into the details – there’s this gorgeous terrace area where you can actually see glimpses of the sea between the olive trees, and the pool area has these comfortable loungers that don’t leave weird tan lines like most hotel furniture does. What I really appreciated was the parking situation – sounds boring, I know, but try finding decent parking near the popular beaches and you’ll understand why having a secure spot matters. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward hovering around a tiny lobby while someone fumbles with paperwork.

Here’s the thing about staying in Koskinou versus the main tourist strips – you get to experience a bit of actual Greek island life. There’s this little kafeneion about a five-minute walk down the road where the old guys play backgammon and serve surprisingly good coffee, and honestly, those moments feel more authentic than anything you’ll find in the crowded harbor area. The villa itself strikes this nice balance between having the amenities you want (proper air conditioning, reliable WiFi, a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking) without feeling like a sterile hotel box. The 8.7 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything just… works. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other, and there’s this attention to comfort that you notice in small ways, like having enough electrical outlets and bathroom space to actually spread out your stuff. If you’re planning to explore the island – and you should, because Rhodes has some incredible spots once you get away from the main beaches – this location gives you easy access to the eastern coast without being stuck in the middle of package tour chaos.

  We liked everything about our stay at the villa. The Villa was luxurious, had everything we needed: pool, comfortable beds, towels, all of the kitchen stuff, TV's, a lot of places to sit, etc. But the biggest joy was our host – she was helping us in every situation starting from planned transfers, lift from the shop with all the groceries, arranged drinks before the arrival, recommendations where to eat, where to go, etc. to making us feel at home with warmness. Additionally: Very very good value for money, I couldn't imagine such villa for such a good price. Thank you!!!😍❤️

  We stayed at Villa Amalfi and had an unforgettable, luxurious vacation. The villa itself is designed in a lavish style, with large, spacious rooms that give a feeling of space and luxury. The bedrooms are big and well-equipped, and the private pool and green lawn surrounding the villa created an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation.
