Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places on Rhodes, and honestly, the Lindos White Hotel caught me off guard in the best way. It’s perched right on Vlycha Beach – which, if you know the area, means you’re getting that gorgeous stretch of sand without the absolute chaos of Lindos town (though you’re still close enough to walk to the Acropolis when the mood strikes). The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe that actually works instead of feeling sterile, you know? White walls, blue accents, the kind of aesthetic that photographs well but more importantly, feels relaxing after a day of exploring.

What really got me was how they’ve thought about the practical stuff that other hotels seem to forget. The suites – and I mean, they’re proper suites, not just rooms with a sitting area shoved in – have these little kitchenettes that are actually useful. I ended up buying fresh tomatoes and feta from the local market because, well, when you’re in Greece you do these things, and it was nice to have a proper space to enjoy them on the terrace. Speaking of terraces, most rooms have sea views, and I’m talking about waking up to that deep blue Aegean stretching out forever. The sound of the waves is constant but not overwhelming – it’s that perfect white noise that actually helps you sleep better.

The beach access is what really sets this place apart though. You literally walk out and you’re on Vlycha Beach, which tends to be less crowded than the main Lindos beach but still has that crystal-clear water and decent tavernas nearby. There’s this family-run place called Melenos that’s maybe a five-minute walk – locals go there, which tells you everything you need to know. The hotel’s pool area is solid too, especially in the afternoons when the beach gets a bit too intense. I noticed they’ve got this thing figured out where the pool doesn’t feel like an afterthought – it’s got character, surrounded by these beautiful plantings that smell incredible in the evening. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (no waiting around in lobbies), and the staff actually seem to know the area well enough to give recommendations that aren’t just the tourist traps. They pointed me toward this hiking trail that leads up behind the hotel with incredible views of the coastline – definitely not something you’d find in a guidebook. The whole experience feels like what a Greek island hotel should be: relaxed, beautiful, and connected to the place you’re visiting rather than sealed off from it.

  The pool area was good and our room was a good size and very clean. The cable cart up to our rooms was cool and the view looking out was good. The food was lovely and it was easy to go all inclusive for one day which worked for us.
  
  What could be improved: The hairdryer is our room was really bad wasn’t worth using at all. The entertainment team could have been more exciting to get people to join in. Activities didn’t always run around the pool which was a shame as we would have liked to play water polo whilst there. You had to pay for the safe which was annoying.

  The hotel itself was fantastic. Two pools, two restaurants to eat at, in addition to the buffet, snacks available daily by the pools as well as crepes and ice creams
  The staff were very friendly, happy and helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Reception were always on hand to answer any queries, book taxies & provide local information.
  The rooms were spacious with extra comfortable beds and always clean.
  The restaurants offered buffet style food that changed cuisines daily, there's was always plenty of choice and the chefs were even happy to prepare things separately, like omelettes and plain dishes for fussy eaters.
  Anything you need help with in the rooms the hotel porter/maintainence were more than happy to come take a look at a minutes notice.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing that let this hotel down was the location for us was a little quiet. That being said there were restaurants within walking distance, and accessible bus routes to Pefkos, Lindos and Rhodes town.

  We had a room with private pool and See view. It was one of the best room that I ever stay in. Sad that the pool water was a little bit cold, but it's late Oktober so, we expected that. But the view makes all the money. The beach it's nice too and it's not far, about 3 minutes away. For us, with an executive suit (room with private pool) the sunbeds was for free, but the people with other room must to pay if they want a sunbed. The food was OK, and the service too. The city of Lindos it's 10 min by car. We took a taxi for 10 euro.

  For me and my fiance it was an amazing stay, mostly because of the people that are working there – all kind, nice and smiling. Special thanks goes to Erica from animations – always taking care of everything and everyone and making great stretching classes in the morning, Pantelis from White Pool bar for good drinks and Erini – guest manager – they made our stay here amazing.
  
  The hotel is located in a quiet area, 3 minutes from the beach, so if you want to relax, this will be the perfect place, because not much is going around. We were lucky because on the first day we were placed in a suite with a jacuzzi overlooking the sunrise 🙂
  Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every day.
  
  The food was delicious – fresh vegetables that can be used to compose a salad, seafood, fish and a large selection of meat, as well as themed evenings, for Greek one we recommend Pita gyros nad for dsserts – meringue. We also recommend booking a place in the a'la carte restaurant – the Italian one was ok, the BBQ was great.
  
  What could be improved: In rooms overlooking the garden you can hear noise from the corridor, people walking with suitcases and on one side a donkey that can make a lot of noise, but earplugs solve this problem.
