Honestly, when I first pulled up to Lindos Village Resort & Spa, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the road down to Vlycha beach is pretty winding and you sort of wonder if you’re going the right way. But then you arrive and it hits you: this place actually gets it right. The adults-only thing isn’t just a marketing gimmick here; there’s this genuine sense of calm that settles over you the moment you walk through the lobby. No kids running around the pool (thank god), just that soft sound of waves from Vlycha beach mixing with quiet conversations over cocktails.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to feel both upscale and relaxed at the same time. I mean, it’s definitely a five-star property – you can tell from the attention to detail in everything from the room amenities to how the staff remembers your name after day one. The spa is honestly incredible; I did their signature treatment using local olive oil and herbs, and I’m not usually one for that sort of thing, but it was worth every euro. The location on Vlycha is perfect too – it’s far enough from the main Lindos village that you’re not dealing with tour buses and crowds, but close enough that you can easily walk over to explore those famous white-washed streets and the ancient acropolis when you feel like it. Pro tip: the walk to Lindos village takes about fifteen minutes along the coastal path, and it’s gorgeous in the early evening when the light hits those medieval walls just right.

You know what impressed me most though? The little things that show they actually pay attention. The breakfast setup changes daily so you’re not eating the same Greek yogurt and honey combo every morning (though honestly, their local honey is addictive). The pool area never feels crowded even during peak season – I think they deliberately keep guest numbers reasonable. And the beach access is seamless; no fighting for loungers or dealing with pushy vendors like you get at some of the busier Rhodes beaches. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not quite perfect (the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some rooms, and check-in took longer than expected), but it delivers on what matters most. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between luxury and authenticity on Rhodes, and you want to actually relax instead of just posting Instagram photos, this place nails it. Just book early if you’re coming in July or August – word is definitely getting out about this gem.

  We had an excellent experience! The rooms were wonderful and very spacious.
  A definite highlight was getting a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room at check-in, which we truly appreciated.
  The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options.
  The beach was conveniently located just a short walk away, and we also had the option of using their shuttle service.
  We also took a yoga class, which was excellent and professionally taught. The instructor was delightful and highly skilled.
  
  Most importantly, the hotel staff were incredibly respectful and pleasant.
  When I reported a clog in my shower, it was addressed and fixed very promptly.
  
  What could be improved: In contrast to breakfast, lunch offered limited options and was relatively expensive.

  Hotel is spacious, the staff are absolutely great go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable and catered for. Particular shout-out to Lizzie, the head hostess in the buffet restaurant, she was just wonderful and and absolute pleasure to talk to. Our room was garden facing which meant it was very peaceful in the daytime. At night we could hear the loud music from the bar but it wasn't an issue once we closed the balcony door.
  The service at the pool bar was great, and the breakfasts at the buffet restaurant were wonderful.
  
  Beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean. No complaints!
  
  What could be improved: The location is a bit far away from everything. It's €15 and a ten/fifteen minute drive to get a taxi into Lindos town, which means that there's nothing really to do a just a stroll from the hotel.
  
  Had a massage at the spa but all the other facilities (the spa pool and sauna) were out of order.
  
  The gym was ok but a few of the machines didn't work (both treadmills) and there was a very limited selection of weights available

  Very clean, well maintained, wonderful breakfast and the staff was great! I was given an upgrade to a junior suite with sea view at check-in and the staff did their utmost to make my stay wonderful.

  Great location with a variety of amenities on site. Staff were on hand to answer any questions and help order taxis for us to explore the area outside of the resort. Speaking of staff, I can’t compliment the staff enough, they were all so welcoming and happy and made such an effort to make me and my partner feel welcome.
  
  What could be improved: Bed was super creaky to the point we were conscious of waking each other or the people in the room next to us. Water pressure dropped in the shower a few times. We never raised either of these problems with the hotel though so they never had a chance to rectify

  What could be improved: The main pool is needing some maintenance as the ceramic tiles are starting to chip off.

  Amazing reception team, very helpful and very thoughtful. Got us a room upgrade for the inconvenience of waiting for our room and even provided us with free cake for her birthday and our anniversary! They recommended places to eat as well around the island which was amazingly spot on (cheers Christos!) The whatsapp communication was handy, always replying within 2 minutes if you need any room service or if you want to hail a taxi at a specific time. 10/10 for customer service! Well done team!
  
  What could be improved: Lots of stairs, 10 min walk to the beach. Very hilly. Also, think about renting a car if you wish to explore the island as well. Could save you lots of money from taxi fares cos the location of the village is quite remote.
