You know what caught me off guard about Lindos Seaside Villa? It’s not actually right on the beach like the name suggests, but honestly, that turned out to be a good thing. The place sits up on the hillside overlooking the bay, which means you get these incredible panoramic views without the crowds of day-trippers trampling past your window at 7 AM. I mean, Lindos gets absolutely packed during peak season – those cruise ship buses start rolling in early – but up at the villa, it’s surprisingly peaceful.

The owner clearly knows this area inside and out because everything about the place just makes sense for Rhodes. The rooms have these thick stone walls that actually keep things cool during those brutal August afternoons when the temperature hits 40°C, and there’s this lovely terrace where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the fishing boats head out from the harbor below. The walk down to the main village takes maybe 10 minutes, which is perfect because you’re close enough to grab dinner at one of the tavernas (honestly, skip the touristy places right by the acropolis entrance and head to the back streets), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night noise from the bars.

What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details that only someone who’s lived here would think of. There’s actually decent parking – and if you’ve driven around Lindos, you know that’s basically a miracle. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel reception desk drama. The woman who runs the place gave me a hand-drawn map with her personal recommendations, including this tiny bakery that opens at 6 AM if you want fresh tyropita before the tour groups arrive. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly (the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, the shower has actual water pressure). I’d say it’s solidly what you’d expect from a well-run 4-star place, though the view definitely punches above its weight class. The 8.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it gets all the important stuff right and the location really is special once you understand the layout of the town. If you’re planning to explore the other villages on Rhodes or take day trips to the nearby beaches, this makes a great base without the premium you’d pay for something right on Lindos Beach itself.

  Great location, space, terrace and parking right outside the property. It’s very airy and good for a family. Cleaning everyday, which was unexpected.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen area is tired, cupboard door handles missing, washing machine didn’t work and it’s disappointing that the wifi does not work in the villa so you can’t watch the smart tv or for me and my husband do some work.

  Beautiful traditional villa, very big and comfortable.
  Right on the beach and 2 minutes walk from the heart of LINDOS old town
  Parking right on the villa (not common in LINDOS)

  , also the smart tv because of bad signal and on/off Wi-Fi.
  Pretty old electronic devices, old fridge and coffee machine.
  The bath is nice and clean but needs a upgrade.

  Rustic charm, location,privacy.
  Seconds walk away from beach with excellent restaurants . Particularly last two on the left side of beach as you look at the sea. Highly recommend Almyra .
  
  Enough room in 2nd bedroom for 3rd mattress if kids like be together.
  Wonderful lady came every day to clean, lovely lovely lady. Thank you

  Pallas beach was also a short walk, smaller but ever bit as charming, safe and clear water again with supermarket and lovely beach tavernas in particular Pallas Taverna.

  The property was in a great location for both the beach and town. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and towels were changed every day . There were even beach towels available. The villa is very spacious and has a fabulous large terrace where we spent most if of time. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return.

  Fantastic villa, the location was amazing with views over the bay and up to the Acropolis. Well appointed, lovely outside space with BBQ and stunning views. Well appointed kitchen with some welcome items in the fridge ready for our arrival. Host was great, helpful and available but left us to it. Cleaner visited every day. Parking directly outside which is a bonus in Lindos!

  Location was perfect, only 50m from the wonderful Lindos beach, and only a 5 min walk into the centre of town
  
  What could be improved: It's a relatively basic villa, however that was as expected but it's well proportioned and was all we needed given we were out so much. So not so much we didn't like anything, more just to say it is relatively basic
