You know what strikes you first about Lindos Grand Resort & Spa? It’s actually the silence. I mean, you’re right on Vlycha beach – which honestly beats the hell out of staying in Lindos town where the cruise ship crowds descend every morning – but there’s this incredible calm here that you just don’t expect from a beachfront resort. The adults-only policy really works, and I’m saying this as someone who usually rolls their eyes at places that market themselves as “sophisticated escapes.” This one actually delivers on that promise.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know the area. Vlycha is about a ten-minute drive from Lindos proper, which means you get the postcard views of the ancient acropolis across the bay without dealing with the narrow cobblestone streets clogged with donkeys and day-trippers. The resort sort of cascades down this hillside toward the beach, and honestly, every level has these panoramic views that make you stop mid-conversation. I spent way too much time on my balcony just watching the fishing boats head out at dawn – there’s something about that golden light hitting the white buildings of Lindos that never gets old. The spa here is legitimately impressive too, not just some afterthought wellness center. They’ve got this whole Greek marble thing going on, and the treatments actually incorporate local ingredients (the honey and olive oil wrap is ridiculously good). The infinity pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time though – it’s positioned so perfectly that you can’t tell where the water ends and the Aegean begins.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to details that matter. The beach service is spot-on without being hovering, the restaurant sources from local farms (you can taste the difference in the tomatoes, seriously), and the staff genuinely knows their stuff about the island. When I mentioned wanting to see some of the smaller villages inland, the concierge didn’t just hand me a generic map – she drew out a route that included this tiny pottery workshop in Archangelos and a family taverna that doesn’t even have a sign. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. Sure, it’s pricey – this is definitely a splurge-level stay – but for an adults-only property on one of the most beautiful stretches of Rhodes’ coastline, with service that actually lives up to those five stars, it’s worth it. Just book early if you’re thinking summer; word has gotten out about this place, and the best sea-view suites go fast.

  I stayed at Lindos Grand Resort and Spa last week and it was my second stay at the Hotel having been there for 2 weeks back in 2023. I absolutely love this place, so much so that we are getting married in Lindos largely because of the experience provided by the hotel.
  
  Before I get onto the hotel itself, the staff absolutely make the Hotel. I travel about 10-15 times a year with work and for holidays and the service this hotel is the best I have ever received. Particular mention goes to Katerina who looks after guest relations, from minute 1 until the moment we left she made us feel so warm and we will continue to come to this hotel because of her and her team, she is such an asset to the Hotel. At the front desk Maria and Theodora are so good and looked after us very well. Vanessa by the pool is so attentive and a credit to the hotel, she was always smiling and so efficient. Jay and Jordan were also fantastic and nothing was too much of an ask at any time. The general manager Alexander and George were extremely professional and are assisting us greatly with our wedding later this year.
  
  The food at the hotel has a really good variety and extremely high quality, it is so good that you do not really have a reason to leave other than to go and see the wonderful Lindos and what it has to offer. The facilities are great and the rooms are magical, I could not recommend this hotel more.

  amazing, very fresh, high quality and varied breakfast which I am sure would suit all tastes and dietary needs.

  Terrific rooms. Extra large comfortable beds. Private pools were an exceptional luxury. Excellent choice of restaurants with excellent food and wine. Beautiful outdoor pool and seating areas. Very friendly and helpful staff.
  
  What could be improved: Just one small thing. The drinking water was not replenished each day as would be normal for 5 star.

  The room was clean and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. The bath water was pleasantly warm and relaxing.
  
  What could be improved: I booked a room advertised as having a beach view, but the sea was barely visible. Instead, the view was mostly of grass and there was ongoing noise from a nearby construction site, which affected the overall experience.
  
  Additionally, for a five-star hotel, considering the high price per night , it was surprising and disappointing to be charged for a mini-bar's water bottle.
