You know what caught me off guard about Lindos Blu? It’s actually positioned right on Vlycha beach – not the main Lindos beach where all the day-trippers pile up with their rental cars, but this quieter stretch that honestly feels like you’ve found something the guidebooks missed. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk into Lindos village (about 10 minutes if you take the coastal path), but you’re far enough away that you don’t hear the quad bikes revving up at dawn or deal with the cruise ship crowds.

The adults-only thing isn’t just a marketing gimmick here – they’ve really leaned into it. The infinity pools cascade down these terraced levels, and there’s this unspoken understanding that everyone’s here to actually relax. No pool volleyball or kids doing cannonballs, just people reading books and occasionally looking up at that ridiculous view of the Aegean. The suites all have these private terraces, and I swear the way they’ve angled them, you get both sunrise and sunset views depending on where you’re sitting. The staff seems to know exactly when to appear with cold towels or fresh fruit – it’s like they’re reading your mind, but in a good way, not a creepy way.

What really sold me on this place was the little stuff nobody mentions in the glossy photos. The breakfast arrives on your terrace in this gorgeous wicker basket, and you can actually hear the waves while you’re eating – not just see them. The beach access is private, so you’re not fighting for sunbeds or dealing with vendors selling knockoff sunglasses every five minutes. And honestly, the location makes all the difference for exploring Rhodes. You’re close enough to pop into Lindos when you want that postcard-perfect acropolis shot, but you can also easily drive to places like Tsambika beach or even make a day trip to Rhodes town without feeling like you’re based in the wrong spot. The hotel arranges transfers, but honestly, I’d rent a car – parking is no problem here, and you’ll want the freedom to discover some of those hidden tavernas up in the hills. Just don’t expect to find this level of service and that jaw-dropping setting for budget prices, but if you’re looking for that perfect Greek island escape where everything just works, this is pretty much it.

  Such a lovely hotel, everything had been thought of, loved our stay here!
  All the food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and well equipped.
  Felt very tranquil, the pools and beach are all beautiful with plenty of space and the spa and treatments were fantastic too.

  Impeccable hotel, great service throughout and food was fantastic. Rooms was immaculate and cleaned throughout our stay. View of the bay is stunning and the private beach a real treat. We will be back!

  We were fortunate enough to book a last minute deal into one of the villa rooms, it was worth paying extra to what we would normally pay just for a bit of luxury for 4 nights, the room was large with extra living room, private pool and outside seating area, we had a bottle of champagne, wine, fruit and nibbles on arrival, and throughout the stay a small gift each day which was lovely. The beach was easy to access down a few lifts, it was very clean and the sun beds were lovely and comfortable, we would get a complimentary bottle of water in an ice bucket each time which was a great touch. The staff were amazing so helpful very well trained to high standard. Food was very good. Lindos was only a couple of minutes in taxi.
