You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places along the Rhodes coastline, but Lindian Dream honestly caught me off guard. When you first pull up to this place in Psaltos – which is basically a ten-minute walk from the main Lindos village but feels worlds away from the tourist chaos – there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about every detail. The parking situation is actually decent (trust me, that matters when you’re lugging suitcases in July heat), and the staff remembers your name by day two, which sounds small but makes such a difference.

What really gets me about this resort is how they’ve managed to feel genuinely Greek without the whole overdone taverna theme park vibe you see everywhere else. The rooms face either the Aegean or these rolling hills dotted with olive groves, and honestly, both views work. I mean, waking up to that Mediterranean light filtering through proper shutters – not the fake ones – while you can hear the waves but not the crowds? That’s the sweet spot right there. The beach access is direct, no hiking down sketchy paths or fighting for space with day-trippers from the cruise ships. And here’s something I really appreciated – the pool area doesn’t blast music until 2am like some places do. You can actually have a conversation without shouting.

The food situation deserves a mention because, well, resort food in Greece can be hit or miss. Their restaurant actually sources from local suppliers (I chatted with the chef one evening, nice guy from Crete), and you can taste the difference. The breakfast spread includes proper Greek yogurt – not that thick stuff they pass off elsewhere – and they make fresh bread daily. Location-wise, you’re close enough to walk into Lindos when you want that postcard-perfect village experience with the Acropolis looming overhead, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds streaming off buses all day. Plus, if you rent a car, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the island’s quieter spots – Tsambika Beach is maybe twenty minutes away, and hardly anyone talks about it. Look, a 9.9 rating sounds almost too good to be true, but after spending a week here, I get it. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, just solid hospitality in a place that actually feels like Greece.

  Fantastic location, super clean rooms (understood hotel has been renovated recently). Very professional and friendly personal. Good and calm private beach with crystal-clear water. Breakfast with good variety of options and beautiful sea view. The food in restaurants (launch, dinner) is delicious with good variety and perfect service.

  just returned from a 4 night break with friends. We did not know what to expect as the hotel had only just opened under a new name and there were no reviews. So pleased we booked to stay there. The hotel is in a lovely location, peaceful with a pretty private beach, which is far nicer than the beach area of the big 5 star hotel next door. The views out to sea are amazing with the different shades of blue of the sea. Every single member of staff was professional, polite and so friendlly. Lovely choice at breakfast and great Greek salad in the pool restaurant. Lindos village is very pretty and although we did walk there once we chose to get a taxi most nights instead. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  Staff are very friendly and helpful
  Lovely location next to a quiet beach and walking distance to Lindos.
  Quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
  Plenty of comfortable sunbeds to use.

  Accommodating of dietary needs.
  Table service at breakfast was a lovely touch, I was expecting it to be a buffet.
  I was one of the first guests after opening for the season under new management. Konstas and his team are doing an amazing job!
  
  What could be improved: Water wasn't left in my room each day initially but they did leave it after I asked a couple of times. So not that big a deal.
  
  Unless you specify brown/granary bread you will get served cheap white sliced bread. Not a huge issue but you learn there is a better option after your first breakfast.

  The property was emaculate and staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive to our needs. This resort looks brand new and has a beautiful beach area. The breakfast was incredible and we only wish we could have stayed longer!
