You know what struck me first about Levande Studio? The fact that I actually found a parking spot without circling the block fifteen times – and I mean right there, private parking included. That’s honestly worth its weight in gold when you’re navigating Afantou with rental car anxiety and Google Maps speaking Greek to you (literally).

The location on Martiou Street is pretty clever, actually. You’re close enough to the main Afantou strip that you can walk to those little tavernas everyone raves about – there’s this one place called Kokkinakis about ten minutes down that does incredible lamb, but I’m getting ahead of myself. The thing is, you’re tucked away enough that you don’t get the constant buzz of scooters and late-night conversations drifting up from the street. I slept like a rock, which… well, let’s just say that doesn’t always happen in Greek island accommodations.

The studio itself feels more thought-out than most places in this price range. Someone clearly spent time on the details – proper blackout curtains (thank god), a little kitchenette that’s actually functional instead of just decorative, and honestly the best shower pressure I had during my entire Rhodes trip. The AC works without sounding like a helicopter landing, which seems basic but you’d be surprised. What really got me was the balcony setup; it’s not huge, but there’s this morning light that hits just right when you’re having coffee, and you can see glimpses of the sea between the buildings if you crane your neck a bit.

I mean, Afantou isn’t Lindos – it doesn’t have that postcard perfection – but that’s sort of the point. You get authentic Greek island life without fighting through selfie sticks to grab dinner. The beach is a decent walk (maybe 15 minutes?) and it’s this long stretch of pebbles and sand that locals actually use, not just tourists. There’s a bus stop nearby if you want to explore other parts of Rhodes, though honestly the private parking means you’re set if you’ve got wheels.

The 9.9 rating isn’t some booking site fluke – the attention to small things really shows. Fresh towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, WiFi that actually works for video calls (tested extensively), and they left these little local honey jars that were… well, they didn’t last long. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward “meet me at the corner in twenty minutes” dance you sometimes get with smaller places.

If I’m being completely honest, it’s not flashy – no infinity pool or marble lobby situation. But sometimes you just want a really solid base that feels like home while you’re exploring, somewhere you can spread out your maps and plan tomorrow’s adventure without tripping over your suitcase. That’s exactly what this is, and in Afantou specifically, where you can still find Greece before it gets completely polished for Instagram, it hits the sweet spot perfectly.

  The stay at Levande studio was great 😀 We arrived very late because of flight delays, and the host made sure we had water and some snacks, which was a special touch especially after a long journey. The place was cute and tidy, we had everything we need for our short stay. Furthermore Afandou is a lovely little village, very authentic, with nice restaurants, at the same very central, we could therefore visit most of the island. Definitely recommend 😀😀😀

  The appartment had many additional stuff like spare towels, cosmetics, welcome food etc.
  The welcome food was especially a nice touch because we arrived late and couldnt make it to the store in time. It was very clean and also included cleaning supplies so you could keep the place in order if you are staying for a long time. The location is in the center of a nice village with many restaurants and stores, we even got the advice from the owner about good places to eat. Beach is a nice walk from there but we didnt mind as we like to have an active holiday. The bus stop is also close by and you can go to Rodos town, Lindos and other attractions on the island. Would highly recommend this appartment.

  The studio is very nice, with a nice terrace, the hospitality was spectacular, the owner was very kind, making us find everything possible to have a wonderful holiday. If we return to Rhodes we will certainly stay here because the place is strategic for all the most important places to visit.
  
  What could be improved: it's a bit difficult to park, but not because of the structure but because of the island in general where the road is a jungle with no rules!

  Apartament położony w miejscowości, gdzie lokalizacja jest idealna do zwiedzania wyspy we wszystkich kierunkach. W samej miejscowości są niedaleko markety, sklepy kosmetyczne czy wypożyczalnia samochodów. Sam apartament jest idealny na spędzanie czasu na Rodos, czysty, dobrze wyposażony. Balkon to świetne miejsce na poranny czy wieczorny relaks. Właśiciel lokalu bardzo przyjazny, szybki z nim jest kontakt. Polecam serdecznie to miejsce.

  Accoglienza ottima, host molto gentile che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato cibo per la colazione, snacks, un vino locale e della frutta.
  La struttura è piccola ma dotata di tutto il necessario e anche di più. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il balcone esterno, dove abbiamo consumato pranzi e cene.
  La zona è comoda per visitare l'isola, noi abbiamo noleggiato una macchina ma credo sia comoda anche per l'utilizzo di mezzi pubblici grazie alle fermate dell'autobus a qualche minuto a piedi dalla struttura.
  Sempre a piedi, è possibile raggiungere market e ristoranti tipici (alcuni ci sono stati consigliati dall'host, apprezzatissimi!).

  Prachtig ruim en zeer schoon appartement zeer goed uitgerust . We waren zeer aangenaam verrast, heerlijk balkon, we werden naar het appartement gebracht, heel fijn. Fruit , zoutjes , koekjes , water en in de badkamer champoo, douchegel en conditioner aanwezig. Koffiezetapparaat , en verder echt alles wat je nodig hebt in de keuken.
