Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Lardos Luxury Apartments – I mean, the name sounds a bit fancy for what you’d typically find in a small Rhodes village, right? But here’s the thing about Lardos that most people don’t realize: it’s actually got this perfect sweet spot location where you’re close enough to Lindos (maybe 10 minutes by car) to hit the famous acropolis, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds every single day.

The apartments themselves are genuinely well done – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in way too many “luxury” places that turned out to be anything but. These units actually feel like someone put thought into the details. The kitchens aren’t just for show (you know how some places give you a hot plate and call it a day), and the balconies… well, depending on which unit you get, you’ll either overlook the main square – which is pretty charming in the evenings when the locals come out – or catch glimpses of the hills rolling toward the coast. The main square thing might worry you noise-wise, but Lardos isn’t exactly party central. It gets pleasantly buzzy around dinner time, then settles down. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep that traditional Greek apartment feel while actually having reliable WiFi and proper air conditioning. The parking situation is way better than you’ll find in most of these traditional villages too – there’s space right there, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate the narrow streets in Lindos with a rental car, you’ll know is basically gold.

The location is what really sells it for me though. You’re literally steps away from some genuinely good tavernas (the one on the corner does this lamb dish that I’m still thinking about), and it’s one of those places where you can actually interact with locals without feeling like you’re intruding on a tourist show. Plus, if you want beaches, you’ve got options – Lardos Beach is a short walk and tends to be less packed than the big-name spots, and you can easily day-trip to Tsambika or even make the drive down to Prasonisi if you’re into windsurfing. I’d say the only minor downside is that if you’re someone who needs to be in the thick of nightlife, this might feel a bit quiet – but honestly, with a 9.4 rating, most people seem to appreciate that peaceful vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can have your morning coffee on the balcony, walk to get fresh bread, and still feel like you’re having an authentic Greek experience without roughing it.

  The apartment is clean, has a lot of space, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a nice porch.
  The location is great, right next to a supermarket, restaurants and a pharmacy.
  There is free parking 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
  The owner is very friendly.

  Everything was just perfect !
  Host was so kind to adjust his time for us as we were late due to Airline…
  
  Place located in the Center of small & cozy town. Restaurants, Bars and grocery shops just 50-100 metres away from Property.
  The free Public parking just 100 metres away and always available what is very handy for travellers with rental car.
  
  Apartment designed with Love…You will find everything You need for unforgettable time in Rhodes.
  
  Mr. George very helpful with all info regarding places to visit when You in Rhodes. Beaches,places to eat, etc. He replies instantly if you need help or assistance.

  The decor was tasteful and the apartment was clean. Communication with the owner was good. I thought it was good value.
  
  What could be improved: To be honest, we were only there a few hours then were evacuated due to the fires.
  We weren’t sure where to park and as it was late we parked on the roadside opposite, the supermarket delivery driver shouted at us in the morning and we had to quickly move it. We used a car park up the road but I thought it had private parking included.
  There could have been some soap/shampoo. The layout was a bit quirky, two en-suites would have made more sense and one bedroom only had a curtain so not very private.

  Very good, I had a late arrival and the owner came to meet me at the property. He was very friendly and informative.

  The apartment is situated right in Lardos village. So convenient, with a supermarket across the road. The decor is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and everything was supplied. Nothing was too much trouble.

  The host was really friendly and helpful! He provided a special chair for our baby and gave us lots of great suggestions about places to visit and also to eat. The apartment was really clean and has a nice garden in which our child played safely! Restaurants and bars are like 10m away. The supermarket is 10m away.

  the apartment is very central. You have everything close by within 3 minutes walking. The AC worked very well and the apartment was very well cleaned. every 4 days came also a cleaning lady to change the towels and clean the apartment.

  The location of the apartment is top. Lardos is close to many diving centres, water sports, and spectacular view. It’s not too far into the wild like the east of Rhodes, nor is it too buried in city crowd. I’m surprised to find this place as a great middle point. There are supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants surrounding the apartment. The host is warm-hearted and responsive! And they have a cleaning lady, and all I needed during my 6-day stay was some help with trash, as I didn’t know the trash sorting rules here. Overall, I love this place 🙂
  
  What could be improved: The shower head in the main bathroom could be replaced. Other than that, I don’t have anything to say.
