Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to La Siesta Villas on Sotirios Street – I mean, Ixia can feel a bit touristy sometimes, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked just far enough from the main Rhodes-Ixia coastal road that you escape most of the traffic noise, but close enough that you can still hear the waves if you really listen from your balcony.

What struck me right away was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth (no standing around for twenty minutes like some places), and the woman at reception – I think her name was Maria – knew exactly which rooms had the better views without me even asking. The villas themselves have this clean, modern feel without being sterile, if that makes sense. My room had these lovely tile floors that stayed cool even during the August heat, and honestly, the air conditioning worked better than my apartment back home. The bathroom was spacious too, which matters when you’re dealing with sandy swimsuits and beach gear. I particularly loved the little balcony – not huge, but big enough for morning coffee while watching the early joggers head toward Ialyssos Beach.

Here’s what I really appreciated though: the location gives you options. You’re literally a five-minute walk to those beach bars along the Ixia strip where the windsurfers hang out, but you can also catch the local bus right from the corner if you want to explore Rhodes Town without dealing with parking nightmares. And speaking of parking – they actually have decent spots available, which is honestly a relief in this area. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet in the evenings; I could sleep with the windows open most nights. You know what else? The little market on the corner stays open late, perfect for grabbing water or snacks without trekking to the big supermarket. The staff gave me tips about which tavernas the locals actually eat at (not the obvious tourist traps), and they were spot-on – I had some of the best lamb I’ve ever tasted at this place called Theologos, maybe ten minutes away. La Siesta Villas isn’t trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need for a proper Greek island experience.

  The apartment was very central and just a short drive into town on a direct road. The apartment offers everything and more that one would need for their stay (pool is nice for a dip after a hot day out) Dimitra is a wonderful host, and she replies to all our messages promptly, and gives great advise for places to eat and see.

  We enjoyed our stay at La Siesta Villas. The accommodation is modern and stylish. Very comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms with good showers. Kitchen area is fairly well equipped. Outside space to relax. Close to local restaurants and bars and within easy walking distance of supermarkets and beach. Lovely welcome pack on arrival much appreciated. Owner, Dimitra was very helpful and friendly, communication was good.

  We had the honor to be the first guests at one of the apartments and we where blown away with both Dimitra's helpfulness as well as the accommodation. She was very nice and flexible despite are late arrival, and helped us immensely during our stay. The pool was perfect and the nice modern apartment had everything we could think of. High quality and professionally managed location!

  We are very glad that we spent our vacation in these apartments. We will definitely come back here next year. There is everything for comfortable stay of four or even more people. There is a large kitchen, refrigerator, oven, microwave, grill, stove and everything for cooking. The apartment has three toilets, 3 balconies and a large jacuzzi!!! Newly renovated, convenient parking for a car in the shade. You can lie by the pool on a sunbed. Comfortable mattresses, comfortable pillows. The owner of the apartment is very friendly and pleasant. As a present, she prepared for us fruits on the table, a lot of food in the refrigerator and even beer! She also took care of our health – she left a large first aid kit with all the pills. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back! 👍🏻

  Das Haus ist traumhaft, super ausgestattet, zentral gelegen & man hat hier alles was man braucht – und noch ein bisschen mehr.
  Die Gastgeberin kümmert sich toll & einem wunderbaren Urlaub steht daher nichts im Wege!

  וילה מושלמת!! קיבלנו את הדירה מאוד נקייה ומסודרת. הכל במצב חדש. לא היה חסר בדירה דבר אחד. המיקום מצויין ומומלץ במיוחד לשומרי כשרות.. מרחק 4 דק נסיעה מבית חבד, ו3 דק הליכה מיאסו (המסעדה הכשרה). יש תחנת דלק וסופר קרוב מאוד לוילה, מרחק 10 דק נסיעה מהמרכז (העיר העתיקה ומרכזי השופינג) ורבע שעה נסיעה משדה התעופה. המארחת מדהימה, השאירה לנו פינוקים בוילה ודאגה לנו במהלך כל השהות. מומלץ בחום, לא תתחרטו!!!!!!

  Absolute Empfehlung !🤩
  Extrem nettes Personal und der Empfang war wirklich hervorragend.
  
  Die Lage ist einfach super. In gefühlten 80m findet man direkt die belebte Hauptstraße(Meile), dort findet man von Kiosk bis Restaurants einfach alles.
  Auch der Strand ist traumhaft und nur 150m entfernt.
  
  Die Apartments sind sehr schalldicht daher ist auch ein erholsamer Schlaf hier perfekt möglich.
  Auch für Familien , Paare , Freunde einfach top.
