You know what really struck me about Kolymbia Bay Art Boutique Hotel? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to the “boutique” label without trying too hard. I mean, when you first pull up to this adults-only spot in Kolymbia, you’re not hit with some massive resort complex – it’s more intimate than that, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to unwind.

The whole art theme isn’t just slapped on as an afterthought either. They’ve got these thoughtful pieces scattered throughout that feel curated rather than picked from some hotel supply catalog. And since it’s adults-only, there’s this genuinely relaxed vibe that kicks in pretty much the moment you check in – no need to worry about pool volleyball tournaments or kids running around at 7 AM. The staff seem to get that people come here to actually decompress, not to be entertained every second. Kolymbia itself is sort of the sweet spot on Rhodes if you ask me – close enough to Lindos (maybe 15 minutes by car) when you want to explore those famous whitewashed streets and the acropolis, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with tour bus crowds every day. The beach here is actually one of the better stretches on this side of the island, with that mix of sand and pebbles that somehow feels more… authentic? Less manicured than some of the more touristy spots.

What I really appreciated was how the hotel sits back from the main coastal road just enough that you don’t get that constant traffic noise, but you can still walk to the waterfront in a couple of minutes. The rooms have this modern Greek aesthetic – you know, clean lines but with enough local touches that you remember you’re in the Mediterranean, not some generic beach resort. And honestly, with an 8.9 rating, they’re clearly doing something right. The pool area becomes this perfect little sanctuary in the afternoons when the heat gets intense, and there’s something to be said for being able to read a book without someone’s playlist blasting from the next lounger over. If you’re looking for that balance between having access to Rhodes’ highlights but actually being able to relax without the chaos, this place gets it right.

  So relaxing, across the road from the sea, lovely staff, fabulous massage, superb food / fresh home cooked. Free beach towels. Great pool bar and some fun entertainment if wanted. Also lovely bar staff

  Friendly staff. Helpful ladies on reception. Last day our plane depatrured late. Lady on reception provided us late check out without any extra fee. Nice older waiter on breakfest recomended us some special dishes ( as adition to standard and very good buffet breakfest ) also without any extra fee. We stayed for 8 days and enjoued 🙂

  The staff was great!!
  At the reception (Dimitria, Manolis and Agapi) were Welcoming, Courtious and helpful with any request I had even before I got to the hotel.
  At the restaurant as well and the pool bar (Karla). Always with a smile 😊
  Maintenance (Andy). All were very friendly.
  Breakfast is very good. The room was nice.
  Overall I enjoyed my stay very much. ☺️

  Wonderful hotel, we upgraded to room with pool from the balcony that shared only to 9 rooms (we have been there alone). Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was super good . We’ve also got 15 min massage on the house. Stuff was amazing , small walking to the beach
  
  What could be improved: The spa is overrated. It has only a small “hamam” – not really good.
  The town is not full of attractions , few tavernas and a beach . We spend our day mostly out of the town .

  Room was clean and comfortable.The balcony with requested sea view was perfect.
  Breakfast choices were very good and well prepared.
  We had dinner at the hotel on four occasions, each time the food was excellent. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom was a little on the small size though well equipped. This comment isn’t a dislike, just an observation.

  Everything was perfect! Modern, elegant, quiet, spotless clean the Kolymbia Bay offered me VIP comfort and went beyond my expectations. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they succesfully met all my needs.
  I booked a room with the pool view and when I checked-in I recieved an upgrade for the room and got the one with the sea view!!! On the first night of your arrival you get free welcome drinks (draft wine/beer) and 1 free hour at their spa that you can can book during your stay. The pool and the pool bar are excellent. Definately recommend! Thank you for making my holiday in Rhodes memorable!
