You know what caught me off guard about Kelly’s Luxury Apartments? It’s actually tucked away from the main Faliraki madness, which honestly makes all the difference. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the beach and those touristy tavernas everyone talks about, but you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM singing “Sweet Caroline” – and trust me, that’s worth its weight in gold during peak summer.

The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s well-appointed holiday home than typical hotel rooms. I’m talking proper kitchens with full-size fridges (perfect for storing those massive Greek yogurt containers from the local Lidl), balconies that actually fit more than one person, and – this was a pleasant surprise – really solid air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The owner clearly gets that people want space to spread out, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The whole place has this relaxed vibe where you can pad around in your pajamas making coffee without feeling like you’re in some sterile hotel corridor. And the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places in Greece still struggle with that.

What really sells me on this place is the location sweet spot they’ve hit. You’re maybe a 10-minute stroll to Anthony Quinn Bay (the prettier, less crowded beach that locals prefer), and about the same to get to the main Faliraki strip when you want that energy. But here’s the thing – you can also easily grab the local bus to Rhodes Town from the stop nearby, which means you don’t have to rent a car if you want to explore beyond the resort bubble. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no hovering around a desk for ages while they upsell you on breakfast packages or excursions. Just keys, a genuine “welcome,” and some solid local recommendations that weren’t obviously commission-based. With a 9.5 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but sometimes those numbers can be inflated. Not here though – it’s one of those rare places where the rating actually matches the experience, and you end up understanding why previous guests were genuinely enthusiastic rather than just politely satisfied.

  The size of Kelly's was great for our young child, not too busy and it had lots of shade for her to relax in! We did travel off season so I think this would be different during summer months! The breakfasts in the morning were excellent and the location was perfect, not too far away from bars, restaurants etc but far enough to not hear the strip etc

  My husband and I stayed at Kelly's for 14 nights. It was our 2 week workation (work + vacation). I will try to give as many details as I possibly can.
  Property: This boutique-style hotel is run by a family. The family has a construction business and they built this back in 2022. Since the property is new, it feels fresh. They have only 11 rooms and most days we felt quite a private and luxurious experience with entire seemingly for ourselves (This is because we went in May, summer could be packed).
  
  The entire property is super clean and they maintain it all around. The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures. There is a kitchenette with all basic equipment for cooking. Our bedroom had a balcony (I think all rooms have a balcony facing the road). The rooms are cleaned daily, which was amazing. Free parking too.
  
  Wifi: This was most important aspect for us. Wifi was stable 95% of the time and did not hamper our work.
  
  Pool area: We spent a lot of time around the pool. This was our main reason to book as well. The swimming pool is 1.4m throughout and it has pool side beds and beautiful cabanas. You get pool towels too.
  
  Food: We did not see in any other reviews but they have good food on property until 5pm (see pictures). We ate 12 out of 15 lunches. The chef is their family member. She worked at 5-star hotel earlier as chef. Apart from tasty Moussaka, we loved the Penne Chicken Broccolino Pasta and Pasta Carbonara. The rates are very reasonable and same as any restaurant nearby. Breakfast has the usual suspects with warm food + cold cuts. However, everyday they serve different Greek dish, one cake (changes daily).
  
  Location: The place is located 10 mins walk away from Kathara Bay & Faliraki beach. There are good restaurants nearby and a great bakery called Sarikas. Couple of restaurants we loved in the area – Village Taste and Spitiki Gonia.
  
  We chose last 2 weeks of May. Weather during our stay was a mix of hot, sunny, slightly windy and slight rains.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to mention here.

  Geri and his staff were super friendly, funny and warm-hearted.
  
  The hotel is in a quite place but still close to the restaurants and night life. With just about 14 rooms it’s a pretty private place so it’s really relaxing including the pool. All in all the location was great and the food was really good as well.
  
  What could be improved: On the first day our private jacuzzi was way too hot so we couldn’t use it. We informed Geri and they fixed it very fast so we had the opportunity to use the jacuzzi from our second day on.

  It’s a short walk from the busy bars and restaurants of Faliraki. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need to make meals and be comfortable. The breakfast was very good with different things everyday. The most important part is it is very quiet and relaxing with 10-12 apartments and new. Everything is nice and works properly nothing is old and worn out. The pool area has lots of sun beds and covered cabanas with room for everyone.
