You know what hit me first about Johannes Luxury Villas? It’s actually tucked away from the main Kolimbia strip in this quiet residential area that feels more like stumbling into someone’s private neighborhood than checking into a typical hotel. I mean, most people think of Kolimbia and picture the busy beachfront with all the tavernas, but this place sits back where the locals live – you’ll hear roosters in the morning instead of tour buses, which honestly was pretty refreshing.

The villas themselves are these whitewashed beauties that somehow manage to feel both traditional and upscale without trying too hard. Each one has this private terrace situation going on, and I spent way too much time just sitting out there with my morning coffee watching the olive groves. The interiors are what you’d expect from a four-star place, but there’s actual character here – real wooden furniture, local artwork that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog, marble bathrooms that stay cool even when it’s blazing outside. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which matters if you’re like me and want to grab fresh ingredients from the Saturday market in Rhodes Town (about a 20-minute drive, by the way).

What really sets this place apart though is how the staff actually knows the area. When I asked about hiking spots, they didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – they drew me a little map to this trail that winds up behind the Seven Springs area where you won’t see another tourist all day. The pool area gets busy around 2 PM when families come back from the beach, but early morning and evening it’s perfect for swimming laps or just floating around. And here’s something I appreciated – the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, even by the pool, which sounds silly but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. The beach is maybe a 10-minute walk down the hill, though honestly the coastal path can be a bit tricky if you’re carrying a lot of beach gear. Parking’s never an issue, which is more than I can say for most places in Rhodes. Check-in was smooth, though they do close the front desk around 10 PM, so don’t plan on rolling in super late without calling ahead. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and still getting proper hotel service, this place nails it.

  Ev sahibi harika, ilgili ve güvenilir. Villa tamamen fotoğraflardaki gibi. Beklentimizin üstündeydi hatta. Kendi evimizde bulunan herşey vardı. (Bulaşık makinesi, çamaşır makinesi, fırın, kahve makinesi, hatta deterjanlar bile vb.) Tamamen bize özel bir havuz ve barbekü alanı vardı. Ev çok güvenli etrafı tamamen kapalı. Ama yinede isterseniz akşam panjurları otomatik kapatabiliyorsunuz. Kaldığımız 1 haftada ev temizlendi biz gezerken. Araç için büyük garaj kapısı ve park yeri mevcut. Ev çok merkezi bir konumda. Plaj, restaurantlar, barlar ve mağazalar yürüme mesafesinde. Old town ve lindos 25 km. Araçla çok rahat gittik. Herşey harikaydı.ev sahibine çok teşekkür ederiz. Tekrar gelirsek yine tercihimiz Johannes Luxury olur.

  Sehr Sauber sehr schön und Komfortabel eingerichtet eine sehr schöne Anlage wunderschöner Ausblick tolle Gastgeber und einfaches aber gutes Frühstück!
  Hatten ein Zimmer mit Swim Up Pool den Pool teilt man sich mit 3 Zimmern ist groß man kann richtig Schwimmen und hat eine Wahnsinns Aussicht während dessen.
  Fazit wenn Rhodos dann Johannes es passt einfach alles und man kann richtig entspannen und Urlaub machen.
