Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Jensen Luxury Suites – the entrance is pretty understated for a place with “luxury” in the name. But you know what? Sometimes the best places don’t need to shout about it. This little gem sits right on Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου, which puts you basically in the heart of Rhodes Town without all the chaos of the main tourist drags. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Medieval City walls, but far enough from the cruise ship crowds that you can actually breathe.

The suites themselves are… well, they’re actually proper suites, not just hotel rooms with a fancy name slapped on them. Each one’s got this really nice separation between the living area and bedroom, plus kitchenettes that are genuinely useful (I’m talking full-size fridge, decent stovetop – not those sad little mini-bars some places try to pass off). The design feels modern Greek, if that makes sense – clean lines but with these gorgeous local stone accents and textiles that actually feel authentic rather than tourist-shop knockoffs. What really got me though was the attention to small things: proper blackout curtains (trust me, this matters when the sun rises early over the Aegean), rainfall showers with water pressure that doesn’t quit, and – this might sound silly – but the WiFi actually works throughout the entire suite, even on the balconies.

Speaking of balconies, most rooms have them, and while you won’t get sweeping sea views from every single one, the city views are honestly more interesting anyway. You can watch Rhodes Town wake up with your morning coffee, see locals heading to work while tourists are still sleeping off their moussaka hangovers. The staff here really knows their stuff too – not in that overly rehearsed concierge way, but like they genuinely live in Rhodes and can point you toward that little taverna tucked behind Sokratous Street where locals actually eat, or tell you which beaches are worth the bus ride versus the overhyped ones everyone talks about. Check-in was refreshingly smooth (they had my room ready at 2 PM instead of making me wait until 4), and parking – always a nightmare in old town areas – is sorted with their own small lot. Sure, it’s not huge, but it beats circling narrow medieval streets in a rental car. The 9.9 rating isn’t just fluff either; this place genuinely gets the details right in ways that matter when you’re actually living there for a few days rather than just passing through.

  The staff are amazing and kind people who let us check out much later than we were expected to, beyond that they are warm and helpful and always say good morning with a smile.
  Amazing service, great location, comfortable beds and warm showers at any time and the breakfast is just the cherry on top. Highly reccomended!

  The bath, the hosts, the breakfast arrangement, tv's, bed.. everything was as it should. But really the hosts Melina and Konstantinos deserve an A++! On our departure there was some issue with the taxi which didn't come or was very late, but Konstantinos looked after us and even gave us a ride to the port by himself! I cannot image a better service! Their friendliness left such nice memories for us!

  The room has everything you need .while there is attention to every detail .we had spa in our room that was big plus .

  Excellent location near beach and restaurants, easy to find, spotlessly clean and very spacious.
  The mini fridge with complimentary beer, wine, water and soft drinks was much appreciated as had late arrival on first night.
  Lovely bathroom with spa bath, hairdryer, decent mirror for makeup and toiletries provided.

  I loved the beautiful decor and the history of the building . Close to everything ,clean , beautifully designed inside . The owners were wonderful and so helpful. I can’t wait to go back . I had my little yorkie and she also loved the outside courtyard area .

  The hotel is beautifully decorated and in a great location – near to the old town (about 10/15 minutes walk), lots of shops and restaurants and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. The attention to detail is amazing and the owners, Melina and Konstantinos were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

  Very nice, cosy, super clean room. All the previous comments are telling the truth. I am very happy I trusted them. Location is very good. 10 minutes by foot till the beach or till the old town, castle. Lots of bars and restaurants around. But what makes a difference is a lovely Melina. Thank you for making our trip even more comfortable 💕.

  Everything! Melina was the best and made our stay perfect!
  
  Location is perfect. < 500 meters to the Elli Beach and really close to the restaurants, bars and groceries.
  Cleanliness is best and top which is really important. And rooms and furnitures are new.
  Breakfast is so delicious which you have at a brunch spot named Kokoraki until 16:00 pm (hotel has an alignment for brunch).
  I and my mom got a bit sick during our stay and Melina was really concerned about us and helped a lot!
  Melina also recommended some nice beaches and restaurants around the island. We tried 4 Rodies restaurant and it was really nice!
  
  Tamam restaurant is really hyped one and food was delicious but if you want to try something fancy I recommend Nomad. We also had a dinner at Paneri which is in old town and also food was delicious.
  
  What could be improved: Not about the property but since it is summer season some nights street was a bit noisy 🙂
