You know what struck me first about Ikia Seascape? It’s not actually in some touristy strip where you’re fighting for beach space with cruise ship crowds. Stegna is this lovely stretch of coast that most people drive right past on their way to Lindos – which honestly works in your favor. The hotel sits right where the hillside meets the water, and I mean right there. You can literally hear the waves from most rooms, not that distant ocean white noise but actual waves rolling over pebbles.

The whole place feels like someone took a traditional Greek island aesthetic and just… got it right. The rooms have this clean, modern vibe but they didn’t strip away all the character like some places do. White walls, blue accents – yeah, I know, sounds cliché – but there’s something about the way the light bounces around in the morning that makes it work. Plus the balconies are actually usable, not those tiny ledges where you can barely fit a chair. I spent way too many evenings out there with a bottle of local wine watching fishing boats come back in. The air conditioning works properly too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting in July or August when Archangelos gets properly hot.

What really sets this place apart though is how they handle the details. The staff genuinely knows the area – like, they’ll tell you the best time to hit Tsambika Beach (early morning, trust me) or which tavernas in the village are worth the walk. Speaking of walking, you’re about fifteen minutes from Archangelos town if you want to see where actual Greeks live and eat, not just the tourist spots. The hotel breakfast is solid – proper Greek yogurt, local honey, fresh bread – and they don’t rush you out by 9:30 like some places. Beach access is direct but it’s not a sandy beach, it’s more pebbly with incredibly clear water. Great for snorkeling if that’s your thing, and surprisingly good for just floating around since the water stays calm most days. Parking is easy, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with narrow Greek coastal roads. The whole operation just feels thoughtfully run – like they actually want you to have a good time rather than just process you through. With a 9.5 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and honestly, after staying there, I get it.

  Panormitis was extremely helpful, the fruit, drinks and other gifts were very useful
  The villa had everything we needed for our week's stay. It was very spacious and well appointed.
  
  What could be improved: The location was a bit of an uphill walk home in the evenings. But it didn't spoil the villa.

  New and modern, walking distance to the nice and calm beach and main village high street. parking in front of apartment. Very good for group of friends and families who like quite place for rest .

  We really enjoyed our stay, I recommend. The house is new, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Located in a quiet neighborhood (compared to the main street, close to the beach). Suitable for families with children.
  Very good and friendly communication from the manager and the owner. We felt very welcome. The beach is 5 minutes from the house, as well as a restaurants and a grocery store on the main street.

  A very pleasant holiday house with new furnishings (March 2023), including an excellent, large double bed. It would be difficult to find a house in the area that was more comfortable and tastefully finished. It has a good view out to sea (but note comment below) and the letting agent was very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Builders turned up at 0730 on Sunday morning to work on the house next door. We'd have left for another rental had not the letting agent got rid of them for us. It may be worth checking that no building work will be going on during your stay before booking.
  
  The view is not was not as pictured thanks to the people below building an upper storey on their apartment. It's still a good view, but the view out to the rock headland on the right is now obscured.

  Really beautiful house, very well maintained, just 5 mins from the beach front. Very clean, brand new furnishings, good Wi-Fi. communication from the owner was excellent. Any problems we did have were addressed

  Es hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Von der Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, weil unser Flug Verspätung hatte und dieser für uns, quasi ein Abendessen eingekauft hatte, bis hin zum Reibungslosen Checkout war wirklich alles perfekt. Die ruhige, jedoch nahe Lage zum Strand und diversen Tavernen war natürlich sehr angenehm und praktisch. Es war auch zu fünft genügend Platz für alle. Kurz gesagt, gelungener Aufenthalt und auf alle Fälle zum weiterempfehlen.

  La maison est grande et magnifique. Surtout très bien équipée il y avait tout à notre arrivée pour que l'on ait rien à se soucier. Le frigo était plein, il y a de la lessive, des Pastilles lave vaisselle…et la climatisation dans toutes les pièces. Un vrai luxe!

  Logement avec une belle architecture, clair, propre, design. Bon agencement. Les chambres sont grandes. La suite parentale a un grand dressing. Bien équipé. Localisation calme. Le frigo était plein d’attention.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi fonctionnait vraiment très mal. Manque de patères dans la salle de bains pour accrocher les serviettes.
