You know what struck me first about House of Dreams? The name actually fits – and I’m usually skeptical of places that promise the moon right in their title. But walking up to this 4-star spot on Pythagora Street, there’s something genuinely dreamy about it that catches you off guard.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Rhodes Town rather than just visiting it. Pythagora Street isn’t one of those crazy touristy strips where you can’t hear yourself think, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I mean, you can walk to the medieval Old Town in maybe ten minutes, and the harbor’s right there too. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re tucked away enough that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM, which (trust me) happens a lot in other parts of town. The street itself has this lived-in Greek neighborhood feel, with locals actually going about their daily business instead of everything being geared toward selling you overpriced souvenirs.

Inside, it’s clear they’ve put thought into the details without going overboard. The 8.2 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but everything works the way it should. The rooms have this comfortable, uncluttered vibe that lets you actually relax instead of feeling like you’re afraid to touch anything. Air conditioning that actually cools the place down (crucial in summer), decent WiFi, and honestly, the beds are better than what you’d expect. I noticed they’ve got good blackout curtains too, which sounds minor until you’re trying to sleep off jet lag and the Greek sun is blazing at 6 AM. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out the island rather than just checking boxes – they’ll tell you which beaches are worth the bus ride and which tavernas locals actually eat at, not just the ones that give them kickbacks. Check-in was smooth, none of that “your room isn’t ready until exactly 3 PM” nonsense even though I showed up early. During peak season it gets busier obviously, but even in July the common areas never felt cramped or chaotic. If I’m being picky, the elevator’s a bit slow and sometimes you can hear people in the hallway, but we’re talking about minor stuff that didn’t really affect my stay. This is the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because it just works – comfortable, well-located, and run by people who get what travelers actually need.

  Very good location,in old town center, very convenient. owner was very friendly, , let us later check in and out and also let us store our luggage for a few hours after check out, I will definitely recommend it.

  The location of this property is excellent . It’s spacious. The host is very nice.
  
  What could be improved: The sewer gases in this apartment are overwhelming.
  The apartment is lacking basic amenities. The host did not leave any water, paper towels, coffee, and toilet paper was minimal. You must walk through the second bedroom to use the bathroom. The beds were so incredibly hard they were very uncomfortable.

  Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία στην παλιά πόλη της Ρόδου. Η ιδιοκτήτρια είναι ευγενική και μας έδωσε χρονικό περιθώριο για check-in και check-out. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν καθαρό και υπήρχαν όλες οι ανέσεις, κουζίνα για να μαγειρέψουμε, ψυγείο, πετσέτες, μέχρι και μικρές συσκευές όπως τοστιέρα, βραστήρας και καφετιέρα, άνετα κρεβάτια και δυο κλιματιστικά και ανεμιστήρας ώστε να διατηρούν δροσερό τον χώρο. Η σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής είναι ιδανική.
  
  What could be improved: Στο διπλανό ακριβώς κτήριο γίνονται έργα του δήμου για κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα με αποτέλεσμα να σε ξυπνάνε απ’ τις 7 το πρωί. Φυσικά δε φέρει ευθύνη η ιδιοκτήτρια του διαμερίσματος, όμως θα πρέπει να το γνωρίζει κανείς πριν μείνει εκεί.

  διαμέρισμα άνετο , ήσυχο, κεντρικό, στην παλιά Πόλη, με απαραίτητο εξοπλισμό.
  Κοντά σε στάση λεωφορείων προς διάφορα μέρη νησιού και παραλίες.

  Δεν μαζεύτηκαν τα σκουπίδια στις 3 μέρες που μείναμε.

  Lokalizacja jest wysmienita, duży metraż. Klimatyzacja w sypialniach. Dobry kontakt z właścicielką,
  
  What could be improved: Bardzo dziwny układ domu, żeby przejść do górnej sypialni należy przejść przez sypialnię na dole, to samo tyczy się łazienki, trzeba przejść przez sypialnię na dole. Brak drzwi w sypialni na górze. Łazienka bardzo mała i zalana cały czas. Brak światła dziennego. W łazience był tez ogromny karaluch. Brak klimatyzacji w kuchni. Wszystko to jednak jest do zniesienia wobec świetnej lokalizacji.
