Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Haraki Village? It’s actually right on Main Street, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s some touristy nightmare. Haraki itself is this sleepy fishing village on Rhodes that most people zip past on their way to Lindos – which honestly works out perfectly for anyone staying here. The hotel sits in what feels like the heart of authentic Greek island life, where you’ll wake up to the sound of fishing boats puttering back into the small harbor rather than tour buses rumbling past.
The place has this unpretentious charm that’s getting harder to find in Greece these days. I mean, it’s got four stars and the 9.4 rating definitely makes sense once you settle in, but it doesn’t feel stuffy or overly polished. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, local touches, and honestly some of the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered on the islands. What really got me was how quiet it stays even though you’re literally steps from the village’s main drag (which, let’s be real, isn’t exactly Times Square). The thick stone walls do their job, and by 9 PM the whole village settles into this peaceful rhythm anyway.
Here’s the thing that makes Haraki Village special – you’re staying somewhere that locals actually respect. The family running it clearly knows what they’re doing, and they’ve managed to create this balance where you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another booking number. The tavernas along the waterfront are a two-minute walk, and I’m talking about places where fishermen still bring their catch directly to the kitchen. Parking isn’t the usual Greek island headache either – there’s space near the hotel, which anyone who’s driven around Rhodes in summer will appreciate. If you’re planning to explore, you’re about 15 minutes from Lindos when you want that postcard-perfect acropolis experience, but you get to come home to somewhere that feels real. The beach right in Haraki is this lovely stretch of pebbles and sand that never gets completely overrun, probably because it doesn’t photograph quite as dramatically as some of the more famous spots. But honestly? That’s exactly why it works.

A beautiful, comfortable studio apartment with a spacious balcony draped in bougainvillea and views to the sea. Such a private and peaceful location tucked away at the sandy end of a gorgeous beach. The hosts Tonia and Maria were wonderful and on hand to answer questions and Maria even gave us a lift to the main road to take the bus to Rhodes town. The studio was very clean and functional with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We loved Haraki as a location and would love to return to Haraki Village studios and apartments. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was our second time in Haraki and it is a heaven for people who prefer peace and calm. In a couple of steps you can reach the most beautiful sea of the island, which is around 28 degrees in summer. The room was clean and everything was ready. Home owners Sevasti and her mother are very kind, intelligent and lovely people. There are 8-10 tavernas closeby and their food is perfect! All the people in the area are extremely polite and have positive energy. I think Haraki Village is the best option to stay and rest in Rhodes for a family. Hope to come back next year too!

Probably one of the best options for staying in Rhodes. Everything in one place: bars, small supermarkets, car, boat rental and the beach which is rocky. In 20 minutes (walking distance) you can easily reach one of the most beautiful Agathi beaches of the Island. This one I highly recomend to visit.
The owners were very helpful and took, alo brought us back to the Airport (additional cost) because it's possible but too complicated to reach Haraki by public transport from Rhodes city.Claire from United Kingdom – 31 August 2023 (10/10)
We loved our stay in Haraki Village! The studio was clean and spacious, the balcony was a good size with a lovely view, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was the best we've had in Greece!
Tonia and her daughters were friendly and helpful; we hired a car from them at a good rate, and also took one of their boats out for a morning. Great location at the quiet end of the village, steps from the sea. Would definitely recommend.Silvia from Slovakia – 22 June 2023 (10/10)
We had a remarkable stay at the accommodation where the host was exceptionally attentive and accommodating. The view from the accommodation was absolutely stunning. Everything was clean. We had a great experience – even better than we expected.

The location of the property was excellent. Being on the side end of the whole resort meant we had a view of the sea to our right and the castle to our left and no buildings in front of us. It was perfect for taking breakfast on the little terrace. The owners were so friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Tonia was there when we arrived and gave us some homemade marmalade, beers and oranges! Her daughter Maria was always around so if we had any questions help was always on hand. The apartment felt traditional but with a couple of modern additions. It had everything you need, including TV with Netflix, kitchen, great bathroom and living area. The only thing I would say is it's perfect for a couple or a young family but maybe not for sharing with other adults. There's a sofa bed and single bed in the living area which is directly below the mezanine with the double bed. There's only a curtain for privacy but otherwise it's all open plan. The stairs are quite steep so not for anyone with mobility problems unless they sleep downstairs. The resort has a very chilled vibe with a great choice of restaurants. The beach is pebble, so sunbeds are preferable (€10 for two beds and brolly). If you have a car a 5 minute drive gets you to Agathi beach,(20 minute walk I believe), with parking on the beach. This is a beautiful golden sandy bay, with a clear calm sea. Sunbeds are available here but €20 for the day and only one restaurant which was pricey. However, the beach is well worth a visit. Haraki is a great location if you have a car to get around the whole island. We loved it here and would return. (Sadly I can't access my photos of the apartment but those on the website are accurate).
What could be improved: Nothing to dislike.Katrin from Germany – 22 April 2023 (9/10)
We had a wonderful time here and especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. It was warm enough (mid April) to sit on the balcony, where we had sun especially in the afternoon /evening.
The owners were nice and the location was great to explore the surrounding on foot or the island by car.
The bed was comfortable, not too soft.
What could be improved: For a tall person it can be a little difficult to sit at the kitchen table inside (due to the drawer) , but since we had the balcony it didn't matter. Some salt and pepper for cooking would be ideal.Nico from Germany – 1 April 2023 (10/10)
Maria was very friendly and welcomed us with wine and homemade jam. The apartment was very clean. The bathroom is very nice and very modern.
We enjoyed the quietness and the view from the balcony on the hills and the waterfront.
