You know what struck me first about Haraki Sea & Sun? It’s not trying to be something it isn’t. This place sits right in the heart of Haraki village – and I mean literally, you can practically roll out of bed and onto the beach. The whole setup feels refreshingly unpretentious for a 4-star spot, which honestly makes it even better.

The thing about Haraki is that it’s still got that authentic Greek island vibe that a lot of places have lost. You’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds here – it’s more like stumbling onto a local secret. The hotel takes full advantage of this, with rooms that actually face the sea (not some weird courtyard angle like you get at bigger resorts). I spent way too much time on my balcony just watching the fishing boats come in around sunset. The staff seems to genuinely live in the area too, which means you get real recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. Maria at the front desk told me about this tiny taverna up the hill that doesn’t even have a sign – best lamb I had on the entire island.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to details that actually matter. The shower pressure is fantastic (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in Greece), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and – this is key – the WiFi works reliably even by the pool. The pool area itself is perfectly sized, meaning you can actually find a decent spot without getting up at dawn to reserve chairs with towels. It gets busy around lunch, but honestly, that’s when you should be down at the beach anyway. The walk to the water takes maybe two minutes, and you’re right on this gorgeous stretch of sand that feels almost private. Just be aware that parking can get a bit tight if you’re planning to rent a car – there’s space, but it fills up during peak season, so get back from your day trips before dinner time.

The breakfast deserves a mention too – it’s not some massive buffet, but everything they do have is actually good. Fresh local honey, proper Greek yogurt, and the woman making omelets clearly knows what she’s doing. I found myself looking forward to it, which doesn’t happen often at hotels. The whole place has this relaxed energy that just works. It’s not fancy in a showy way, but it’s comfortable and clean and the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time. With a 9.1 rating, I expected it to be solid, but it exceeded that – it’s the sort of spot you’d actually want to come back to, not just Instagram and forget about.

  After two months, we decided to write a review. It was a great holiday in Rhodes. We were greeted very warmly, shown to the room and treated to grapes.
  
  The accommodation is located in the town of Haraki. We really liked the location. There is a huge convenient parking lot near the house, a 1-minute walk to the local beach, 2 minutes to the grocery store, and 10 minutes by car to the supermarket.
  
  We lived as if we were visiting our relatives. The room is very cozy, freshly renovated. There is everything you need to cook, although we spent every dinner in Tommy's tavern. We also highly recommend Tommy's tavern. The territory is also very clean. There is also a great pool, in which we swam only together.
  
  We have only the best impressions of this place. If we are in Rhodes again, we will come back here.

  I am writing a review very late, but I want to praise the apartments for fully complying with the website, for the very friendly staff.
  The room had air conditioning, which saved us from the heat.
  Walking distance to the sea.
  Excellent restaurant next to the apartments from the owners of the apartments.
  The owners are very sociable and friendly, when I got sick (due to a sharp change in climate) – the owner offered water and painkillers.
  Unfortunately, due to the fact that I got sick, we could not use the pool, but it looked VERY CLEAN throughout our vacation, we even thought that there was no water in it, but no, there was very clean water.
  The only minus for us was the location in accordance with Lindos and Rhodes. It is better to rent a car, but since we did not have a license, we used a bus and a transfer.

  Location was Fantastic! Walk 4 min to beach , bars and restaurants! Charaki is amazing beach , so much nicer than Lindos and others . Family owned and very welcoming. It is modern, renovated and clean.

  The property is modern, contemporary and clean. The room is spacious, the bathroom is nice and big aswell as the balcony. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming and we totally enjoyed our honeymoon and would recommend it thoroughly. It is also a great location, right near to haraki Main Street with restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

  Fantastic value for money! Tommy and Toulli are magnificent hosts! So kind and caring. The apartment was so nice and all facilities first class. The restaurant they have on site serves delicious food. A perfect location around the corner from the beach!!!
