So I stumbled upon this place called Haraki Hill & Seaview – Aelia Apartment when I was hunting for somewhere peaceful on Rhodes, and honestly? It turned out to be one of those happy accidents that makes a trip memorable. You know how sometimes you book a place based on photos and cross your fingers – well, this actually delivered on what it promised, which is saying something for a 4-star spot.

The thing about Haraki is that it’s not trying to be Lindos or Rhodes Town – it’s this sleepy fishing village about 36 kilometers down the coastal road, and the Aelia sits perfectly positioned to catch both the hill views and that gorgeous stretch of coastline. I mean, the name literally tells you what you’re getting, but when you’re actually standing on the terrace with your morning coffee, watching the light hit the water… it hits different, you know? The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. There’s space to actually spread out your stuff (thank god, because I’m a chronic overpacker), and the kitchen setup means you can grab fresh fish from the harbor below and cook it yourself if you want. Though honestly, the tavernas down in the village are so good and ridiculously affordable that I only used it for breakfast and late-night snacks.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets once the day-trippers head back to their resorts. Haraki doesn’t have the crazy nightlife scene – the most excitement you’ll get is maybe some bouzouki music drifting up from the waterfront around 10 PM, which actually adds to the charm rather than keeping you awake. The walk down to the beach takes about ten minutes if you’re not in a rush, and there’s this little path that cuts between the olive groves that the locals use. Parking was never an issue (which, if you’ve driven around Greek islands in summer, you’ll appreciate), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward small talk while they try to upsell you on excursions. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not luxury in the marble-floors-and-champagne-service sense, but it’s that kind of comfortable authenticity that makes you want to extend your stay by a few days. You’re close enough to explore the more famous spots – Lindos is maybe 20 minutes if you take the coastal road – but you come back to this peaceful spot where you can actually hear the waves and see stars at night. Perfect for anyone who wants the Greek island experience without feeling like they’re staying in a tourist factory.

  A wonderful holiday! Sevi's apartment is located 2 km from one of the most beautiful and least crowded bays of Rhodes. There are many spectacular bays and beaches but the closest one is the quietest, the sea is full of fish and beautiful; the east coast is the most beautiful of all. The apartment is kept with the utmost care and is equipped with every comfort, from the coffee machine, toaster and every type of tool you may need. Sevi had a truly priceless availability and kindness, she always answered every question immediately and suggested all the nice things to do on our holiday. The welcome was special

  They have everything you might need for your stay. Kitchen is well equipped. There were sun umbrellas and beach equipment available. There is also a laundry room, that was not mentioned in the booking. So that was nice feature to have as well.

  I cannot be less than enthusiastic about this great apartment! Having the sea view on one side and the green hills on the other, you can feel the serenity and the peacefulness of the place just sitting outside on the wonderful balcony! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. I loved the fact that the apartment was very bright and surrounded by well preserved and beautiful gardens. But most of all, we loved the owners!! Being in Rhodes during the wildfires and having being evacuated twice, Sevi and Nikos, and of course, Mrs Maria and Mr. Stavros did everything they could to help us during that difficult time. They offered us their homes so we had somewhere to sleep and they always had our concern. We felt that we were part of their family. Nothing I could write could express our gratitude! Sevi, Nikos, Mrs Maria and Mr Stavros thank you for everything!

  Our stay in Haraki was great! We loved the huge balcony that offered a lovely sea view and was a nice place to relax. Also, there was free parking on premises. The apartments are only 3 minutes by car from the beach and close to the main road for easy island exploration. Our studio, although small, had everything it needed and was very clean. Sevi, the host, was incredibly nice and helpful, giving us recommendations for places to visit and eat. We even received cold white wine and water from the host when we arrived, which was a nice surprise😊 Highly recommend Haraki Hill & Sea View Apartments!
  
  What could be improved: It’s next to the road so you can hear the cars if the road is busy, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

  The house Is very beautiful and comfortable, there is everything you need. Sevi, the owner, is very nice and friendly. She gave us some suggestion about very typical restaurants. They were excelent!

  The location is very convenient to make one-day trips by car to different places or beaches, or to go to supermarket or store.
  We liked seating on the terrace in the evenings with the perfect view and glas of ouzo, for instance.
  There is working well AC in each room!

  The house is placed on the main road to LIndos, in the perfect spot to access the best beaches on the island (Tsambika, Agathi and Lindos), practically all of the within 15 minute. Although near the main road it was exceptionally quiet and we loved that. A very large apartment that could fit 4 persons but very comfortable for the two of us. We are frequent flyers to Rhodes and this spot is one of the best to return on the island. You absolutely need a car which we believe is mandatory for a perfect time on the island, in order to have mobility and enjoy the great beaches where there is no direct transportation. The host is a very fine person obviously very refined and the house is very much personalized. Large collection of opera which we enjoyed listening. A place that we would like to return.

  The location of the studio is excellent, because it is near to the beach and to the hot spots of Rhodos. The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. There is a free parking area on the terrain. The owner (Sevi) is really kind and will let you know if there is an event in Rhodos. Also provided us with a bottle of wine and coated peanuts. I can everyone recommend this place to stay!
  
  What could be improved: The electricity will shut down if the air-conditioning and cooking device is turned on at the same time. Also the fridge is cooling a bit too well, because our eggs and yogurt were frozen.

  Godpodarze bardzo mili, przywitali nas, wszystko wytłumaczyli i na dodatek poczęstowali owocami ze swojego sadu. Lodówka była zaopatrzona w wodę i wino. Obiekt posiada wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty, suszarka do włosów i na pranie, pralka, żelazko, aneks kuchenny – naprawdę świetne miejsce na długi wypoczynek. A widoki i śniadania na tarasie zapierały dech – serdecznie polecam to miejsce.
