My room was exactly what I hoped for — clean, comfortable, and with enough space to actually unpack without playing Tetris with my luggage. The air conditioning worked properly (which honestly isn’t always a given), and the bathroom was modern enough without trying too hard. What I really appreciated was the balcony — not huge, but big enough for morning coffee while watching the village wake up. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work, and you can tell they pay attention to the small details that make a difference.

The Beach Experience

Haraki Beach itself is one of those gems that makes you wonder why more people don’t know about it. The water is incredibly clear — I mean, you can see your feet even when you’re chest-deep. It’s a pebble beach, so bring water shoes if you’re picky about that sort of thing, but the swimming is fantastic. The beach never felt crowded during my stay, even on weekends when locals from other parts of the island come to visit. There are a couple of tavernas right on the beach where you can grab lunch without having to trek back to your apartment or hotel room.

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about the whole setup without it being overly touristy or expensive.
