You know what struck me first about Green Villa? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – Parodos Rodon – which honestly took me a minute to find, but that’s actually perfect because you’re close enough to everything in Ialyssos without dealing with the main road noise. I mean, you can still hear the distant hum of scooters and the occasional evening chatter from nearby tavernas, but it’s more like a gentle soundtrack than anything disruptive.

The whole place has this lived-in charm that you don’t get at those massive resort complexes down the coast. The owners clearly know what they’re doing – small touches everywhere that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The garden area genuinely feels like someone’s private oasis, with these established olive trees and jasmine that fills the evening air. I spent way more time than planned just sitting out there with morning coffee, watching the local cats navigate their territorial disputes. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly clean and gets great afternoon sun – though if you’re visiting in peak July/August, you’ll want to claim your spot early since the place fills up with return guests who obviously know something good when they find it.

What really sets Green Villa apart though is the location knowledge you get from the staff. They pointed me toward this little beach access point that most tourists never find, maybe a ten-minute walk away, where the water’s clearer and you’re not fighting for space. And honestly, being in Ialyssos puts you in this sweet spot – you can catch the bus into Rhodes Old Town (the stop’s practically around the corner), but you’re also perfectly positioned for those western sunset spots that make your Instagram followers properly jealous. The parking situation is actually manageable too, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will appreciate. There’s something refreshing about a 4-star place that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard to impress – the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the air conditioning works properly (crucial in summer), and the whole vibe is just… relaxed. That 9.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there a few days.

  Everything was perfect! The place looks just like the pictures. Beds are super comfy and each room ahas blackout blinds, which make it perfect to rest. You have everything you need and more!
  
  Communication with hosts was easy, we were allowed to do an early check-in, which we appreciated a lot and they were waiting for us already in the house. They were always available and checking up on our needs.
  
  Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone to book it. Easy to move with taxis everywhere, supermarket 5 mins walking, couple of restaurants and shops nearby.
  
  We decided to go to beaches in other areas as we were looking for sandy ones, but there’s a beach walking distance from the house.
  
  We left and inflatable flamingo for the pool named Matilda for others to enjoy too. Take care of her!🦩☺️
  
  What could be improved: Only downside which is minor is that the sun get’s covered by the house already around 2-3PM, so better to take advantage and use the pool early☺️.

  The property was in a lovely quiet area yet only a couple of minutes walk to the main road and AB supermarket. There were lots of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. There is a regular bus service to Rhodes town and a taxi is about €15 depending on the time. We also hired a car to see other parts of the island and there was a car space at the villa. The owners were delightful and very quick to help with whatever they were asked. I would be very happy to stay here again. Altogether a great holiday.

  Die Hosts waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. der Pool war toll und die Lage sehr praktisch. der Strand war zu Fuß (10 min ca.) erreichbar und Rhodos City mit dem Bus (30 min ca.)

  Die Unterkunft hatte alles was man benötigt. Handtücher, Shampoo und auch Töpfe, Teller usw.
  Eine Waschmaschine ist auch da.
  Jedes Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage und einen Smart Tv. Der Pool ist am Abend beleuchtet.
  Es war sehr sauber und ist modern eingerichtet.
  Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (2min Fußweg) und die Bushaltestelle ist auch nur paar Minuten entfernt.
  Auch der Strand ist sehr nah.
  
  Konstantinos ist ein super Gastgeber. Wir durften etwas später auschecken und als jemand von unserer Gruppe krank wurde, hat er sogar vorgeschlagen uns zum Arzt zu fahren.
  
  Rundum war alles perfekt und wir würden immer wieder hier buchen.
